Overview
Removing fear from your first cast by eliminating backlashes with a built-in magnetic cast control, the Abu Garcia Max SX MIQ Casting Reel lets new and entry-level baitcast anglers focus on fishing instead of fixing mistakes. Built around a lightweight graphite frame with an asymmetrical body design, the Max SX MIQ delivers powerful winding performance with Abu's DuraGear Gen II gear system and a Power-Disk drag that dishes out up to 15lbs of fish-stopping power.
Designed to be an intermediate step for beginner anglers, the New MIQ braking system automatically adjusts spool speed throughout the cast for the perfect balance of casting control and extending casting distance. Complete with a 90mm bowed aluminum handle for increased cranking power, the Abu Garcia SX MIQ Casting Reel is topped with co-molded PVC handle knobs that ensure a comfortable and secure grip during long fishing sessions.
