Comments: Great rod, great action. I own the 7'MH mf, listed on the handle as the "Squarebill" model. I do think the rod serves better as a 3/8 or even 1/2 Chatterbait rod. Larger squarebills and DT6-DT10 size cranks work well too, but the rod has some backbone with that mod. fast action. For open water or anything lighter I would get the 7'Medium mod. fast. Abu seems to have stepped up the guides they use and this rod has a Fuji reel seat. Overall a great option for a multipurpose mid priced cranking rod.

Comments: 7' Medium. The rod dutifully handles smaller treble baits like 1.5 squarebills and RKCrawlers. The rod has a whippy tip to keep trebles pinned but lacks power for single-hook baits. Despite the whippy tip, the rod maintains sufficient sensitivity to detect bites and feel the bait bouncing over rocks.

Comments: I have the 7'6" MH paired with a Curado 201K, 12lb FC Sniper. The rod is labeled for "Medium Cranks", 1/4-1oz. I think the true lure rating is closer to 1/2-1.5oz, the same as the Veritas Winch 7'6" MH. I was throwing and cranking a 6XD (1oz) and a 6th Sense C20 (1.4oz) with no issue. This rod feels best suited for 10'+ divers and other baits 5/8oz and up.

Comments: Very impressed with this new lineup! I have the 7' MH Squarebill rod, and I was able to break it in last week with several 4 lb. and 3 lb. largemouth cranking over grass and through rock bars. Once I hooked up with a fish, I never lost one. This rod will be on my deck year-round now!
