Cheaply ConstructedI bought five Zenon rods because I have carpel tunnel. Light weight of rod is truly amazing and love how a ML & M rod handles fish up to 30 pounds I've caught. Problem is metal rings below rod seat have detached on two of the rods and slide up and down. (Doesn't seem they served a purpose get rid of them and the weight.) A third rod the tip broke off while casting a 1/4 ounce jig. (I also do not recommend the Zenon reels - line gets under spool way too often!)

Comments: Picked up the ML and MH. They are light with crispy blanks. As another reviewer said, the ML is something special...just has a great taper. I have the ML casting as well...also magical.

Comments: I purchased the 7ft M and the 6'10 ML. The 7ft medium is ok, its a little on the stiff side for a medium rated rod, its definitely light and sensitive, but when paying $400+ for a rod, I don't feel its features warrant that price point. Now the 6'10 ML is another story. Abu got it right, the rod is crisp, ultra sensitive and has enough give in the tip for finesse presentations and yet plenty of backbone for hook sets and applying pressure to larger fish. The split grip is comfortable and I did not notice any blemishes or quality control issues. Overall, the 7ft M is average to maybe a little above average at the $400+ price point, the 6'10 ML is an above average to outstanding rod at the $400+ price range.

Comments: The rod is light, yet there is something going on with the tip, I don't want to say heavy, but not evenly balanced may be a better way to describe it. I picked up the ZENONSP30 to pair with it , the reel is very light and smooth, if the rod didn't have the tip issue, it would be a formidable combo. Sensitivity is good, not outstanding. Attention to detail/quality control is average , a little more attention could of been paid to the epoxy work, I don't see how the guides improve casting performance. Will look elsewhere for my next finesse rod.

Comments: Got the 6.10 med light x fast. Super crispy and sensitive. This rod is freaking light. Abu said 3,3oz but on my scale it was 3,2 oz. I pair it with a Daiwa luvias jdm 2500s and the combo weight only 8,7oz !!! Blown away by the performance and this rod compare to rod 100-200$ more expensive. The finish on mine was top notch to !

Comments: I picked up the 7ft medium specifically for neko/shakey heads and possibly 3/8oz blades. The carbon fiber fore grip on the handle is nice but was cut a little uneven above the reel seat, not a big deal, but considering the rod is $430 it shouldn't have an issue like that. The rod has decent sensitivity, but is a touch tip heavy(I tried 3 different size spinning reels) I don't feel like the guides are anything special. Overall, for the price ,I would of gone with a Shimano Poison Adrena spinning or a St. Croix Legend Elite spinning.
