Jitterbugs are the Best!I have fished since I was old enough to hold a rod. When I was a kid I loved Jitterbug lures. About 20 years ago I stopped fishing due to physical disabilities. 5 years ago I decided to try fishing again. Even though I am still disabled, when I stopped I just assumed I could not do it. Well I can. To a point. When I got back into it I kinda forgot about the Jitterbugs because I was watching all kinds of YouTube videos to learn about all the newer lures and such and stuff I never knew about. I became a whopper plopper nut. Then I dug out some old lures and saw my jitterbugs. I felt like an idiot. I have done very well fishing the Jitterbugs. I think they are very underrated lure just because they are considered an old lure that hasn't changed in 50 years or so. Well there is a reason for that. They still catch fish. They did back in the day. And they do today. I think I do better with these then I do the whopper ploppers because everyone is fishing the ploppers and they have learned the noise. These have a totally different look and noise. And not as many people fish the Jitterbugs. So the fish don't see them as often and hit them.

Comments: One of My go to topwater baits! Bought one years ago and it is one of my favorite nighttime/dusk lures. Must get the black color. Caught my PB SMB on it of 6.24lbs. Must have in every box.

Comments: one of the best top water baits ever produced. it's nearly as effective as heddon's crazy crawler. the crazy crawler can be retrieved at a slower pace which and still be effective, as well as a great hooker. in my opinion, the crawler is a superior night lure for big bass.
