Overview

Building upon the legacy of the original and wildly successful Jitterbug, the Arbogast Jointed Jitterbug 2.0 Wakebait features some key upgrades and a new look to help dominate the next generation of surface lures. At the head of the bait, a lower pull-point has been integrated to ensure an intense action in the water resulting in more of those heart-stopping blowups anglers live for. Next, Arbogast upgraded the hook hangers to allow free movement of the hooks so as to not slow down forward momentum and to remove any leverage the fish may use to throw the bait once they are pinned. To add extra strike-inducing action, even when the lure is stopped, they included a feathered rear treble hook that will continue to drift when the lure is not in motion.

In addition to its unbeatable action, the Jointed Jitterbug 2.0 also features some serious cosmetic enhancements. The bodies of the bait showcase Arbogast’s HD Crackle Patterns for an unbeatable look that fish simply can’t ignore, while a black nickel finish on the hooks helps to hide them from any wary eyes of the fish you are targeting. Along with the new and improved attributes, you can expect the same legendary quality components and construction anglers everywhere have come to expect from Arbogast. For the latest innovation on a legendary classic, add the Arbogast Jointed Jitterbug 2.0 Wakebait to your arsenal and take your topwater game to the next level.

Comments: I fish these only on one lake that I fish fairly regularly! If the bass are not hitting frogs on the weed line I tie one of these on and can almost always get bit! For some reason the bass on this lake love these! They are my secret weapon when competing against my buddies. Lots of guys fish frogs and plugs on emerging weed lines but these seem to have a higher success rate! I have to keep them secret from the other guys! A lot of younger guys have never even seen a Jitterbug before! Sometimes the old forgotten classics still outperform the new tech baits that guys spend a fortune on!

Comments: Best jitterbug I've ever used! Easy and quick to get it bubbling, it floats, and the jointed area just adds to all the other qualities of this lure.

From: Sara: 7/31/22

Comments: This is an awesome topwater bait in the evening. I have generally used a traditional jitterbug or jointed jitterbug in the past, but I saw this and bought it. I took this out on my local lake twice in the evening and was getting insane too water strikes almost every cast. The large bass love this lure.

Comments: An Amazing little lure! Have caught several bass with it! Haven't had any hook up issues myself.

From: Carlos: Lajunta, CO 10/28/21

Comments: Swims perfect every cast. The new tow point is so much better than the original jitterbug. I have removed the feathers off the rear treble. Works great for our bass here in Australia!

From: Dan: North Haven, Australia10/8/21

Comments: I love this thing......, and I also hate it..lol I love it because fish will absolutely smash it, but I hate it because I have had multiple strikes on it every time that I've tied it on, but I have not landed a single fish. For me, they have come off 100% of the time. I'm going to upgrade the front hook, but it would be a little tricky to upgrade the rear one without losing the feathers.

From: Brian: 6/17/21

Comments: The jitterbug is a great bait, however this one smaller and lighter. On the other hand, the colors are perfect. In my opinion they need to be bigger.

From: Dale: Reisterstown, MD 3/18/21

Comments: This has been a great lure. First off it has a lot of action on the water but doesn't require hardly any rod movement to work the lure. Don't throw around cover serious the hooks that will get hung up.

From: Marvin: Winder, GA 3/1/21

Comments: A little bit of rod, a little bit of reel, a little bit of wrist equals a whole lot of different levels of rukus! I have thrown this little beauty 3 times on 3 different trips maybe a total of 25 to 30 casts. I've landed 5 LMB, and missed 2. total weight around 14 1/2 lbs. I'd call that a respectable bag for Florida in the winter. Seems to be holding up pretty well so far. I'm comfortable it has more than paid for itself for sure.especially considering all the dollars we dump into soft plastics. Very satisfied. I hadn't fished a Jitterbug in 25 years. Welcome back old friend!

From: Mike: Dover, FL 2/9/21

Comments: Beautiful jointed jiggerbug.I'd hit it if I were a fish.Easy to cast but no fish yet.

From: Mark: Citrus Heights, CA 10/29/20

Comments:As a long time fan of the original Jitterbug I was excited to see this tricked out version and couldn't wait to try it. Visually it's stunning but in reality its a piece of cheap junk. Smaller and lighter than the original and the blade is way too thin to stand up to even moderate use.
