Use germ gel to ease installation... trust meGerm gel is slick but dries out fast and isn't slippery anymore... so it grips like you didn't use it. I used the gel and have also used 4 to 6 plastic drinking straws between the rod on the inside of this this grip. Between the 2 it will even slide up on the handle of your rod hande just by the drunking straws allowing air space so as to stop any friction between the 2. I have used mono fishing line thru the grip like with the straws, also... use the highest lb. test line diameter that you have in your possession... it helps and is better than nothing...
But the key is to use the germ gel....
Try the trick after this grip is warm...
Use long straws which stay between allowing some space until you pull
them out.
