Overview
The Arkie Bucktail Muddler Collar Jig is a unique, bucktail, ball-head jig with a muddler collar that causes the bucktail hair to flare out and create more action in the water. The bucktail hair is great for colder water, and many feel it provides a more natural, undulating action than a silicone or rubber skirt. An old-time favorite, bucktail jigs have been catching fish for years. Hand-painted and hand-tied, the Arkie Bucktail Muddler Collar Jig is a available in a range of colors.

Comments: Ordered the 3/8 oz. Recieved them a few days ago and package said they were 3/8 oz but I am sure they are 1/4 oz. Nice looking and good quality jig
just wish it was heavier.

Comments: AWESOME JIG! This jig has been my go to for the last couple years once the water temp drops below 50 degrees. I like to fish it with a NetBait "Paca Chunk" trailer although I'm sure any small craw would do. I have only used the brown / orange and it works great!

Comments: Picked up some of these and some other Finesse jigs to use at the bottom of a Dropshot Rig instead of a regular DS weight. First tried it on a not too great day, but almost right away caught a keeper sized Smallmouth & was pleased to see it was on the jig & not on the cuttail worm rigged about 10" above the jig. I may try a jig on the bottom, with a worm in the middle & a lizard at the top position. I upped the leader from 6 lb to 8 lb test Fluorocarbon & am using 15 lb braid mainline, but might go to 20. If I catch more than one fish at a time, it will be fun!

Comments: Great jigs, especially for the price. I caught 2 largemouth in sub 40 degree water the first time I used one.

Comments: Received the Black/Blue 1/4oz one not too long ago. Took it out and it performs really well. Only downside to this is while testing it the day I got it, the paint chipped off the side.
