Overview
The ultimate wacky hook for worming in and around heavy cover, the BKK Predator W.G. Weedless Wacky Hook is forged and tempered to optimize strength with a high-carbon steel construction that resists flexing under heavy loads. Hand-tied with a fluorocarbon weed guard to prevent snagging while allowing it to collapse easily for positive hooksets, the premium guard is secured with strong binding thread and epoxy resin that helps keep its shape and orientation fish after fish. Covered with BKK’s super-slide (SS) coating to provide lightning-quick hook penetration, the BKK Predator W.G. Weedless Wacky Hook is perfect for drop shot or wacky rig applications with a wide gap shape to ensure the best hooked-to-landing ratio.

FinallyThis is the best wacky/neko hook I have ever tried.
The weed guard is not only very intelligent but also very effective. You can actually work on it to make it more or less weedless just pushing on it. Also the weed guard is epoxy glued so it wouldn't slide on the shank as other brands hooks.
The hook is very sharp and I had to use very often pliers to remove it from the roof of bass mouth.
It's definitely not a ultra finesse hook so I wouldn't recommend for lines under 8 pound and definitely strong enough to handle lines up to 14 pound.

Comments: Probably the worst experience I've had with a wacky hook. I'm not sure if it's the weed guard, the gap, or a combination of both. It's insanely sticky sharp but that's about the only good thing I can say. I've tried this hook 3 times. Have hooked about a dozen bass and literally; Every. Single. One. has shaken off from the hook and lost them, including a couple toads which made me very angry. Never had this issue with ANY other hook. So in the purgatory bin they go to either be tossed in the trash or donated. I wanted to like them, I really did. But somewhere, mistakes were made in the design. I have used them all in wacky hooks; Gamakatsus, Eagle Claws, Mustads, Owners, you name it I tried it. If you want the absolute best; listen to me and stoo your search. Go no further than either the vmc redlines or my absolute favorite, the Ichikawa Weedless Mukade hooks. They're insanely scary sticky sharp, with a very aggressive bend. Have hooked countless bass on them and as far back as I can recall, have literally never lost a fish on one, even the big boys. The Mukade hooks stick em, pin em, and keeps em pinned. I almost always have to use forceps/pliers to get the hook out from their jaw or wherever they're hooked, that's how good it pins them. Go get some!

Comments: Only used once but very impressed. Small diameter hook, sharp and strong. Weed guard is good. If it holds up then I'm sold. Probably sold on it already.
