Comments: Everything else is a cheap copy, a great tool and easier to use than pliers and safer too (fish with teeth). I have the stainless steel version in 9 1/2 inch and for some reason are easier to use and don't corrode like the zinc plated version. I just wish retailers would carry the S.S. version, only a few dollars more.

Comments: I got this for handling gut hooked bass and other bigger fish. This works great. It has never failed to remove a hook. Ever. And its simple to use.

Comments: This hook remover is kind of a pain to use. It is NOT good for panfish as the hook grabber is way to big to fit in any gills mouth. It is good for pike & walleye. I would recommend just buying normal pliers.
