Small bass magnetThese punch above their weight for bass. Jig trailers, Ned, drop shot are all successful. But rigging it free weight and having this appear to feed on the bottom is fire. The Houdini color is fire!
Highly recommended.
Great Buzzbait TrailerFor white buzzbatis, I put the pearl one, and paint the tail chartreuse. For some reasons, it just catches fish.
on the drop...I use these as drop shot baits with mucho success! I soak them in a shad scent and they get consumed!
Great Little Bait !The Bass Assassin Split Tail Shad is my favorite fluke style bait for finesse fishing. So many, let me count the ways to use them: drop shot, split-shot, jig head, shaky head, ned rig, hover rig, weightless weedless hook, pitching / flipping, as a trailer, and the A-Rig. The vertical split tail sets it apart form other similar soft plastics. Great fish catching colors, and the bodies do not rip or tear easily. Most important, they hold up for many catches. Great Lure!

Comments: These are great when fishing finesse gear! A smaller fluke design holds up to multiple fish and has a different action that attracts strikes. A 2/0 Gamakasu EWG works best to ensure a proper hook set. The tail is key for looking like a real baitfish. It also aids in stopping the bait in cover where other baits glide over and out of the "strike zone". Catch more bass with the Bass Assassin Split Tail Shad. Tight Lines!

Comments: Used these a while back on a guide trip in Florida and they perform amazingly, try them as a chatter bait trailer.

Comments: If you like the Zako, but don't need to add a ton of weight to your bait, try this. Zakos are heavy and these are not. Serious Chatterbait fishermen/women will know why this is a big deal.
