Overview
Put to the test by Jeff Gustafson at the 2021 Bass Master Elite event on Fort Laudon, the Bass Tactics Bryan Gustafson’s Smeltinator Jig is the original micro swimbait head he used to claim a dominant victory on the Tennessee River. Perfect for pairing with finesse paddletail swimbaits and small minnow-imitating plastics, the Smeltinator jig implements key elements such as clear coated airbrush paint jobs, 3D holographic eyes, and textured gill plates to create a highly realistic presentation.
Equipped with a universal ribbed bait keeper to lock soft plastic trailers firmly in place, this innovative collar-style keeper extends the life of your swimbaits with a design that does not tear the plastic like traditional hook keepers. Boasting a wide variety of weights and hook sizes to cover every scenario, the Bass Tactics Bryan Gustafson’s Smeltinator Jig is a premiere finesse option that is sure to keep up with its winning reputation in the tournament angling scene!

Comments: I received mine the other day and was blown away by the quality. Definitely going to be using the 1/8 3/0 on my finesse umbrella rig. Would be great if these came in 4/0 too! Love the gammy hook

Comments: Quality has gone down-hill with these. No longer made with Gammy hook. Seems to be a mustad or VMC instead.

Comments: This is the bait Jeff Gussy Gustafson used to win the Bassmaster Classic, I can't believe I didn't know about these sooner. They have a strong gammy hook and a really nice finish to them.. definitely going to be buying more soon!
