PoorI think these are poorly designed. There's a slight gap between the top and bottom which results in the split ring constantly slipping out of your grip. Also, the bottom is too thick to accommodate a #2 split ring which makes it almost impossible to secure that ring and hook on your bait.
GreatGreat deal for the price. Cuts floro and mono well, will not cut through braid, but that is not the product's purpose. Buy these pliers.

Comments: For the price, you really cannot complain. But word of advice, if you're planning on changing out smaller splits rings, like size 2's on Megabass 110's, this plier is not the greatest. It'll get it done with some patience but the nose is just too big. I've bent several split rings trying to muscle them on with these. Getting something with a finer tip would be better.

Comments: These pliers are great for getting at those small split rings. I was able to switch out size #2 split rings on all my topwater baits and crankbaits without any difficulty. The tips of the pliers are small enough to handle the smaller split rings with ease. The spring that keeps the pliers open seems a little flimsy but I haven't encountered any problems with it yet. Overall these are a good set of split rings pliers for the price and I am satisfied with my purchase!!
