Overview
Specifically formulated to appeal to a bass' sense of taste and smell, the Berkley Power Grubs are perfect for a variety of rigging applications, including jigs and spinnerbait trailers. The Power Grubs tapered body offers extra holding power and a fast swimming tail. Once a fish bites into the Power Grub, the Powerbait flavor impregnated into the bait, causes fish to hang on longer for more positive hooksets. Though designed specifically for fishing bass, these little critters have been catching all species of fish since Berkley first introduced their Power Bait line.

Comments: These power grubs work awesome!! I fish for rock, largemouth, smallmouth bass in small rivers here in northern Ohio. The 2" pearl white is my #1 favorite. I rig it on a 1/16 or 1/8 oz Jan's Net Craft weedless jig head and using a slow but steady retrieve around eddies, rocks, ledges, holes, submerged trees without hangups. The line used varies from 6 or 8lb McCoy Mean Green or Stren original fluorescent clear blue line. The scent and action of these grubs drive fish CRAZY!!!! A very simple way for any age fisherman to do. Cast it out and slowly reel it back. Can't get any simpler than that. Just be ready for the strike! Highly recommended baits. Just remember to make sure the packaging is 100% sealed up when not in use or the grubs WILL DRY UP!

Comments: The 2" are great crappie grubs trolled - simple ball head jig, add a live minnow lip hooked hanging off the back and keep boat around 2.5mph... the bright colors work best.
But for bass I buy another brand.. if they made more colors in the 4" or a new bigger 5" I'm sure I'd be doing better, but hasn't happened yet.

Comments: Work great trolling on light tackle for American & hickory shad, just make sure to get strong hooks or theyll bend em right out! These'll catch just about anything that swims, from trout to striper.

Comments: One of my favorite curly tails still. Firmer plastic that lasts longer than a yamamoto or kalin's grub and has as good or better tail action on both the swim and fall, at any speed.

Comments: A killer bait when paired with a normal jighead or as a swimbait trailer. 1/8 ounce jigheads work well. This is a great bait for trolling as well as casting. If you are going to bring a beginner onto the boat, this is the bait to give them. Green pumpkin $ inch are the way to go.
