Overview
Designed and tested on some of the top smallmouth lakes in the country, the Big Bite Baits Smallie Smasher excels at bringing the big bite to your line on a wide range of applications. Molded with a ribbed body to mimic the profile of a goby, baitfish, or leach, the Big Bite Baits Smallie Smasher features a thin spine and a flat paddle tail that creates a lively swimming action and displaces a tremendous amount of water with the slightest movements from the rod.
The Big Bite Baits Smallie Smasher features a solid head design, which makes it a great choice for nose hooking on a drop shot, but it is also highly effective on a split shot, ned-rig, or a shaky head. It is poured in a wide selection of fish catching colors and fortified with Bite Juice for an added level of attraction as well. Don’t worry, the Big Bite Baits Smallie Smasher appeals to all species, not just smallmouth.

Comments: Love these! I use them on a jig head and twitch them around the shallow creek. Panfish and SMB kill it!

Comments: Very good bait. Did quite well on the LM fry guarders this post-spawn and also smallies on TVA reservoirs at initial deep migration (read 1st rock piles/transition lines/etc). VERY good action on a nose hook, just your natural rod tip shaking is more than enough to get it moving. Seems neutrally to slightly positive buoyant as well.
I DO agree, however, that it is not very durable, especially with nose hooks. I took a small page out of the TB fellas' jerk bait book and screwed smallest size Owner CPS all the way in to nose, then nose hook through the end of spring. Very much helps increase number of fish caught per bait, and also keeps the tail from getting pulled off by bluegills and whatnot. Additionally the CPS trick seems to make it want to sit with a nose-down/tail high attitude, which can be great depending on the situation. All in all good bait good price. Go to colors obviously GP and the white/chartreuse (hint go to hobby lobby and find a baby blue sharpie, add a streak of blue up on back for stained water success on smallmouth who are done with crank baits and big swim baits in TVA tailrace areas).

Comments: These flat out catch fish, spots, smallies, LMB. Stained water to clear water. Really good dropshot bait. Flew through a pack of them for about 1 to 3 fish a bait before they would tear, but we were on a school of smaller spots. Small ones will hold the tail and you will rip off alot of tails. But its worth it, they are great. If this bait was elastech it would be money. Outperformed robo worms on the dropshot.

Comments: It works, it has good action, the colors are not very natural compared to some other baits (quite artificial-looking). Your call whether your fish mind... Biggest issue is how soft this bait is compared to a Roboworm, for example. I've even lost some on the cast even as they ripped off (nose-hooked). Prepare to go through a lot more worms than you expected.

Comments: This has become my go to drop shot bait in this color: Grn Pumpkin Org Blk Purp Prl Bl. I've tried the missle bait version of this but for some reason this bait dominates, even over my roboworms. Simply gently shake the slack line while keeping bottom contact and you'll feel the tug or gently pull up a bit and you'll feel the weight. This was a recommendation by Tactical Bassin to give them credit and it has been a good one. Not sure what scent or flavor they use, but it definitely seems to draw the fish. Don't be afraid to dead stick if the bite is really slow as that tail moves well in just the slightest current or shift of the tip of the rod.

Comments: I did not think this bait would work down in tx but they slayed the bass when no others could and they are crazy soft yet durable plus I like them over z man bc they r cheaper only a little less durable but more action than z man.

Comments:My friend recieved a sample pack of these in a mystery tackbox. I took a few of the smoke purple flake, rigged them up on a dropshot, and caught 8 bass 2 pickerol in just a few hours of fishing. Great bait and they last many fish.
