Overview
An excellent solution to challenging winter fishing and finicky fish, the Big Daddy Baits Booger Spin Tail Spinners excel in the most difficult conditions. They start with 3D molded scales and gill plates as well as durable, chip-resistant paint schemes that also deliver exceptional detailing. In addition to their gill rakers, the Booger Spins also boast 3D red eyes for a layer of realism as well as a strike point for fish to hone in on. Moving down to the tail end of the baits reveals hand-tied finesse skirts which impart lifelike pulsating action even in icy cold water. The tails also sport small Indiana blades stamped with multi-faceted hexagons to better throw light in all directions as they swim and flutter throughout the water column. Completed with sharp treble hooks and premium swivels for smooth blade rotation at any retrieval speed, the Big Daddy Baits Booger Spin Tail Spinners utilize top-notch componentry to turn some of those lookers into biters.

Comments: Deadly little lure for cold water conditions or summer time schooling fish. My favorite color is the Malone's Magic because it is the most natural looking in clear or clean water. I prefer the 3/8 oz. but sometimes the 1/2 oz. is better in the summer if they want a faster rate of fall. I change out the #6 VMC treble hook that comes on it for a larger #2 VMC treble from Lureparts.com for 2 reasons. Less fouling of the treble hook (the #6 treble and even a #4 treble will hook the blade or the split ring and ruin/waste your cast) and better/stronger hookups on larger fish. This may be an intended finesse tactic but it will catch big bass too. I throw it out and let it sink to the bottom and then pump the rod up and let it settle back to the bottom on a semi-slack line. Watch for your line to jump or often you will set the hook automatically with the next pump of the rod. I am using 15 # test mono or fluoro, a 7-3 medium action rod and a fast reel, 7.1 or 7 .5 to 1 ratio. Garmin Livescope and these lures are a deadly combination on schooling, ledge, and winter fish.

Comments: This is the best tail spinner on the market!! If you have ever caught a bass slow rolling a spinnerbait Then you will catch fish in this bait. If it eats a minnow it will eat the Booger Spin. It is a year round lure that will catch fish in any temperature water. Its great for summer schooling fish on the surface or 30' deep on ledges. It also is for fall and winter fishing. This is the bait that was used on Cumberland Lake Kentucky Toyota Series Championship in November to win a 1/4 a million dollars first place. You have guessed it ... I am a big fan of the Booger Spin.
