Overview
Developed in conjunction with Elite Series pro, Mark Daniels Jr., the Bill Lewis MR-6 Crankbait was designed to be your go-to crankbait for targeting the six foot depth range. Featuring a compact body that contains an internal weight transfer system, the Bill Lewis MR-6 Crankbait casts like a bullet while its flattened sides and tapered tail combine to create an extreme vibration and tight wiggling action. The Bill Lewis MR-6 Crankbait is also perfectly weighted to slowly rise when paused and produce a low pitched knocking sound during the retrieve to attract fish in dirty water conditions.
The lengthened body design of the Bill Lewis MR-6 Crankbait also gives it the ability to carry two size 4 Mustad Triple Grip treble hooks and have a much higher hook-up ratio than other crankbaits of the same size. Offered in an assortment of colors hand selected by Mark himself, the Bill Lewis MR-6 Crankbait delivers tour-level performance at a price that can’t be beat.

Comments: This bait has a beautifully consistent action and comes in great colors. I caught my personal best smallmouth bass on the citrus shad color.

Comments: Don't think they dive quite to 6ft, but they catch fish! I've been looking for a cheaper but effective crank since I ran out of Skeet Reese Tennessee Shads, these catch fish!

Comments: The quality of this bait alone makes it one of the best, if not the best, mid-range diving crankbait on the market. It's sleek profile provides for a tight wiggle action that is unique compared to most mid-range diving crankbaits. The overall design of this bait is fantastic and the paint holds up to the abuse. There's a pretty solid collection of color patterns to choose from to meet the needs of the angler no matter what bait the bass might be chasing or the water clarity. A fantastic bait by an amazing company!

Comments: This is a really good bait. Narrow bill so very tight wiggle. The narrow bill also means it will get snagged some but that is the trade off. It's got the action of some tight wiggling balsa baits but with weight so it's easy to cast. Caught both spotted bass and small mouths is 50 degree water.

Comments: My "Rayburn Red Craw" MD-6s just arrived today. I haven't thrown them yet, but I like the size and sound. BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE COLORS! If you want red, don't buy the Rayburn Red... it should be called Rayburn Brown.

Comments: These crankbaits are money! I have every color made and have caught tons of fish on them. They run true right out of the package, they have super sharp hooks (triple grips), and the pain colors are awesome and do not chip. Well worth the price!

Comments: Cool looking crankbait. Wobbles like a DT-6. Not bad, but definitely did not dive to 6 ft for me. Color scheme is really nice though. Wish I had more to buy more in different colors. Hooks are great, but are easily bent when it snagged a snapping turtle. 5th Place winner in the B.A.S.S. Classic declared that this was his go-to, in the Strawbery Craw color.

Comments: Have three and the bill on one is half gone and one of the other ones has a crack in it already, both after minimal use. They have caught fish but I'm skeptical about the quality of the bait.

Comments: I met Mark Daniels Jr. about a month ago near where I live which is about 45 minutes from Marks home. We started talking and he told me about his new MR 6 crankbait and being the e cranking aficianado that I am I had to buy one which I did. Since the prespawn is happening at this time of the year I bought one in the Rayburn Red color as it is the hottest spring color going on almost any lake you fished and I wasn't disappointed. The first time I used it I went with a friend in his boat and while he used a Strike King 2.0 squarebill in red I used the MR 6 which gets a little deeper. What a day! My fishing partner caught fish but that MR 6 put twice as many fish in the boat as hi 2.0. For some reason this lure just plain outperformed his lure and though we both caught fish I had outfished him from the back of the boat. All told I caught close to twenty bass that day. Since that day this lure has continued to perform and I've order 5 more from TW and am impatiently waiting for their arrival in the mail. There is just something different about the lure that makes the bass want to eat it. I've used different styles of retrieves to good effect. It comes off of wood and rock easily and to top it off it comes with premium hooks so you don't have to change them out.

Comments: Bought 4 of these after watching Brian Latimer do a YouTube video on crankbaits and he had some of these in his arsenal.Went out and threw one around for awhile and caught some nice fish, paint job is great, they run true out of the package but the stock hardware is what shines IMO,sticky sharp hooks that are the perfect size for this bait, nice to finally get a crank that is truly 100% ready to go. Good job to MDJ and the bill lewis folks for designing a nice crankbait at a reasonable price.

Comments: Just got my order of these MR-6 Today..Feb 15 2019. At first look hey that's DT 6 but they have Sound..more flat sided than Rapala..better in colder water..Just guessing should have much slower rise. In cold water less movement is better. The Hooks are great. I fish alot of rocks and gravel bluffs in wintertime is very hard on baits ....wood or hard plastic ...each has it's place..these have deep one knocker sound...was hoping for higher more trap sound..but could be better still testing. With the unboxing very well pleased so far.
