Overview
Handcrafted by the legendary Bassmaster Classic Champion Cliff Pace, the Black Label Tackle Cliff Pace Wreck Squarebill Balsa Crankbait is a top-of-the-line premium balsa squarebill. Designed to terrorize bass in the 2 to 3-foot depth range, it has been built to replicate the original WEC1 Squarebill that is no longer in production but still highly sought after by crankbait enthusiasts everywhere. Like all Black Label Balsa Crankbaits, the Wreck is a truly premium balsa bait. From the initial carving to the final clear coat, this hand-sealed, hand-painted, and hand-cleared Black Label Balsa Wreck Squarebill Crankbait is built with their intensive 45-step process that ensures the highest level of quality and performance.
The Wreck has a wide Lexan bill with the line tie coming through the bill just like the WEC1 and has the same desirable quick thumping wobble as its predecessor. The Wreck Crankbait can be launched into laydowns, stumps, and brush with confidence, thanks to its ability to come through cover amazingly well. The Wreck Squarebill also comes through grass better than most squarebill crankbaits and can be ripped through those underwater jungles with ease. Ready to fill livewells right out of the box with quality stainless steel hardware and Mustad EWG trebles, the Black Label Tackle Cliff Pace Wreck Squarebill Balsa Crankbait has everything you want in a balsa crankbait and it will absolutely Wreck'em.

Comments: Love these cranks, casts great, goes through everything with ease. Used them this last spring for first time and they produced. The hooks for their size are LETHAL!

Comments: Great square bills period. Big fan of Worden's timber tigers but no longer in production. Like them these things drive through everything with ease. Love the colors and the hooks are lethal sharp. Caught a lot of bass this spring on it and plan on buying more. A bit pricey but don't mind paying when they work!

Comments: I have yet to buy a Black label lure that I don't like. All the black labels I have bought run true right out of the package. I was buying PH lures for a few years but after finding out about the black labels lures I stopped buying PH lures because the black label lures are cheaper and ALOT BETTER QUALITY than the PH lures.

Comments: I absolutely love these crank baits. I don't really want to use any of my other squarebills anymore. These deflect off cover very well. If I could only have two colors, it would be River Bream and Gizzard Foil.

Comments: It casts well and deflects off cover really nice but the thing that surprised me is that I wacked this thing off trees and stumps all day long and it doesn't show a mark....all Cliffs baits have gorgeous finishes, there durable and they just catch fish

Comments: Bought 3 after my uncle bought me one at a fishing expo in Jackson MS. They work, used for the first time the week of February 14, 2022. If I could in post a picture of a bass that weighed 10.3 caught on the river bream color I would. They come through cypress and Tupelo poplar great. The paint job makes you almost not wanting to fish them. Action is great all caught fish from bass, bream and crappie. Fishing oxbow lakes from Natchez to Bellini, MS.

Comments: This thing looks, runs, and casts great. Like most Balsa square bills, it comes through wood very well. Premium hooks. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Comments: Good looking fishing Bait can't wait to fish it , colors are as good as Zoom Or Bagley Baits need to go to the water, I like old-school crank baits and these compare to them I guess because I am old and remember the DB three days homer and classic colors Cliff makes a good bait and I know they'll catch fish.

Comments: Great crankbait. I wish it had a little rattle like the DT. The bill material is slightly softer than other cranks. Run it through a few rocks and you can see the gouges. Way better priced than an original E1 off ebay. Thanks Cliff.

Comments: If you are looking for a replica of the Zoom cranks.. I prefer these over the PH cranks. I think the color choices are better and the paint job is more durable. Also they are 5 dollars cheaper than the PH lures.
