Crafted by California lure designer Rick Tietz, the Blade Runner 1.5oz Spinnerbait Head was created for attracting big fish. Just add your favorite swimbait or large tube and let the detailed paint job, 3D eyes, and hard thumping willow blade go to work. A built-in wire bait keeper holds your plastic securely in place, and premium barrel swivels get the blade spinning at the first turn of your reel handle. Constructed from a .51 Heavy Gauge Musky Wire, the Blade Runner 1.5oz Spinnerbait Head is equipped with a razor-sharp Mustad hook that is suitable for giant largemouth bass, musky, pike, and other large gamefish.

LingcodI have been fishing this lure for about 15 years. Originally it was sold with a Basstrix tube. I now fish a 7.8 Keitech Swing Impact with it. Runs true, takes an absolute beating, doesn’t snag easily in rocks and bull kelp. I’ve caught about 20 lingcod this year jetty fishing with this setup. They freight train this thing. All my fish have inhaled the entire rig. There is nothing that compares to this lure combo casting for lingcod. I will occasionally catch a 5-8lb black rockfish but it’s almost exclusively lingcod. 20 years of jetty fishing and this is the most insane lure combo I’ve come across. I fish once or twice a week and have rarely not caught a Ling on this. I thought they discontinued it and had a complete meltdown two months ago. Relieved to see it back on here to say the least. Little rinse and WD-40 on the swivel and it’ll go forever.
