Overview
Built in collaboration with renowned swimbait designer, Mike Bucca, the Bucca Brand Baby Bull Gill Swimbait delivers the action and quality that Bucca Swimbaits are known for but at an unbelievable price point. Constructed from a super durable ABS plastic instead of traditional Bucca resin, the Bucca Brand Baby Bull Gill Swimbait features a multi-segmented design that is reinforced with double joints at each section, which produces a natural “S” swimming motion that entices bass to strike. Its’ compact size also makes it appealing to bass of all sizes and allows anglers to fish it effectively without the need for specialized heavy-duty swimbait equipment.
Not only does the Bucca Brand Baby Bull Gill Swimbait provide a deadly fish catching action, but it is also covered with lifelike details including checkered scales, 3D eyes, 3D gills, and a custom airbrush paint job that will fool even the wariest of big bass. Armed with a set of razor sharp EWG treble hooks that deliver superior hook sets, the Bucca Brand Baby Bull Gill Swimbait works exceptionally well anywhere panfish are on the menu.

Comments: I have 2 baby bull gills. One in bluegill and one in bass. I have not fished them a lot. But I have caught fish on both. It amazes me how small of fish will bite it. Today I caught a 12 inch largemouth. I love how they hit it. This 12 inch nailed it like it was a 10 pounder. I thought something was wrong with it because after it hit it, it hardly fought. Then when I saw it I thought no wonder. I was fishing it like Mike Bucca said he designed it. Reeled quickly right below the surface. Start and stop your retrieve. They nail it on the pause.

Comments: BUILD CONFIDENCE ON THIS SWIMBAIT BEFORE YOU FISH LARGER ONES. I got the Ruby Gill 3.75" and boy let me tell you I had the best day of fishing I've had in a long time. In my first 5 casts in a pressured pond, I caught a 4 pounder and then TWO 1.5lbers on the SAME CAST on the hottest day of the year in the middle of the day! I'm placing an order for the 6" Bull Gill NOW. 12lb Fluoro 7' MF rod. 6.3:1 reel.

Comments: Got the crappie color and had nothing on it for 2 hours. I then put on the bluegill color and the bass smashed it first cast, and I caught a couple other 2-5 pounders on the bluegill color, very good action but be careful with color selection.

Comments: This lure is flat out amazing, you can swim it super slow, super fast, medium, however, it'll swim great and catch fish. If you reel it extremely fast it has a great S action on the top of the water. Have caught multiple bass on it. Cons: helicopters on cast, hooks aren't the greatest. Flat out catches fish though. Excellent pond lure

Comments: I got it in the ruby gill color and it looks amazing. It has a super nice action. I would suggest changing out the hooks though
