Overview

Designed to be the ultimate terminal tackle organizer, the Buzbe Colony 28 Modular Terminal Tackle Box uses cutting-edge materials and a customizable interior that solves common problems when storing terminal tackle. Featuring a removable bin system that is preconfigured in a popular layout used for terminal tackle, the Buzbe Colony 28 Modular Terminal Tackle Box eliminates smaller hooks, swivels, and other small terminal items from slipping under or over a traditional divider system, which can create a complete mess and frustration on the water that ultimately leads to less time fishing. The modular bins also offer fully customizable performance thanks to the HEXLOK grid system that allows anglers to arrange their bins to best suit their individual needs.

Delivering unmatched durability, the Buzbe Colony 28 Modular Terminal Tackle Box boasts industrial strength materials and componentry throughout. Over-engineered with military-grade plastics and 316 stainless steel hinges and latches, it can take a beating without compromising its structural integrity. To help protect your expensive investments, it utilizes a molded airtight gasket as well as a special additive in the plastic that emits a hardware-coating anti-rust vapor. If you’re tired of all your hooks, weights, and swivels not staying in their compartment and getting mixed up in your tackle box you need to try the Buzbe Colony 28 Modular Terminal Tackle Box.

Quik-Pop Access – Latches are designed to “pop” up and away from the lid in one quick motion. Simply pull up on the latch from underneath while keeping all other fingers clear from the top side of the stainless steel latch strap to achieve quick access.

Military Grade Latches – Latch is made from a saltwater-rated 316 stainless steel latch strap and military-grade glass-filled nylon. If it’s tough enough for the military, then it’s tough enough for us.

Fortified Hinges – A wall of hinge supports span across the back side encasing a saltwater-rated 316 stainless steel hinge pin. Precisely designed for the lid to open and rest at a position in line with the bottom of the box.

Security Locking Hole – Use a padlock or locking cable to secure your box and contents. Reduce the threat of theft.

Hit or miss I guessSo I have bought 2 of these. One houses all my tungsten. One houses all my damiki and single swimbait heads. I've never had an issue with latches as I've heard about in other reviews. Sometimes the cubes pop up and are difficult to stick back in. I bought 1 in 2022 and one in 2023. I bought a 6 pack of 1x1 cubes in 2024 and they just absolutely won't stick down in the box. Very frustrating. However, IMO there is no box better for tungsten and lead. All the 1x1 cubes are just perfect, and 2x1's for the sizes I keep higher quantities in. IMO again, I can't stand the plano edge latches which makes this the preffered box for terminal tackle. I would never spend this much money on a box to house soft plastics. I started reading the reviews on other buzbe boxes, because I wanted to invest in some smaller ones for technique specifc terminal like Shaky heads, neko, wacky, ned, etc. Now I don't think I'll be doing that because it seems the quality is inconsistent and I just got lucky on the first two boxes. Make the cubes fit right, and fix the latch issues and this will be the #1 terminal box on the market.
