Overview
Originally designed in Australia for targeting pelagic fish in saltwater environments, the Cast The OG Floater creates a massive bite-triggering bubble trail in a scaled-down size to show your freshwater gamefish something they have never seen before! Featuring a hand-carved balsa wood construction, the OG offers exceptional casting distance, floats naturally on the surface, and is very easy to swim whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro.
Despite its spook-like appearance, the OG Floater is not a walk-the-dog style lure. Providing a completely different action than the mechanical left-right movement of a walking bait, this topwater stick bait excels with an aggressive burn and pause retrieve as it dives violently, pops in and out of the water, and kicks and slashes sideways erratically.
Built with a 2.0mm through-wire to provide phenomenal durability, each lure comes pre-rigged with Spro split rings and razor-sharp Gamakatsu treble hooks so they are ready to use straight out of the box. Proven worldwide in offshore waters, the Cast The OG Floater has been adapted to dominate freshwater fisheries from highland reservoirs with clear water to the dingy backwaters of the Florida everglades.

Comments: The 20g version of this bait is responsible for the largest 5 fish limit of spotted bass to come in my boat. 21.75lbs of all spots! if you have herring in your lake, this is something you beed in your arsenal.

Comments: I'll start by saying that the bait is really good looking, and works as advertised with a really nice erratic swim. I am not sure if I have been doing something wrong but the first bait I bought cracked at the tail section by the metal connector the first time I fished in after about 20 minutes of casting. I didn't hit anything or catch anything, just cracked from minimal use. TW was nice enough to replace the bait and I just took the second one out today and had a similar experience. I fished for about an hour, no fish, didn't hit anything and I think the hook cracked the tail section, and took a chip out of the paint. The crack is not as bad as the first time but I worry about the crack allowing water into the bait. Either I suck as fishing the bait properly or the durability is severely lacking. I will keep fishing the bait but am pretty disappointed in what I had hoped would be a sweet addition to my arsenal.

Comments: I have caught 3 of my largest spotted bass including my personal best on this bait. The action on this bait is super erratic and gives the fish a presentation they have never seen. You will not be disappointed with the quality fish you catch on the OG.
