Handmade in the USA, the CL8 Bait Buzz Rat is designed to churn up an abundance of commotion that drives big bass to unleash crushing topwater strikes. Constructed on a strong wire frame, the Buzz Rat comes fitted with two offset unbalanced blades that ignite the surface of the water with a deep rhythmic thump fish can't ignore. Meanwhile, the head of the Buzz Rat is composed of resin with a flat bottom to help keep the bait riding high on the surface, even while reeling at ultra-slow speeds. Each bait also includes a razor-sharp 6/0 Mustad hook, premium silicone skirt, and soft tail that adds tantalizing action to every retrieve.
