One of my favorites for 20+ yearsThese were killer growing up bass fishing in CT. The local club guys showed me how to throw them on little ball heads. Bass Cave Tackle from NJ makes an incredible 1/4oz football with a 1/0 hook with a collar for the skirt and a keeper for the claws. Thats what ive used for this bait for years now.
*For those that dont know - if you notice one of the tentacles on the skirt does NOT have a ball on it. Thats because you can use that one to bury into the hook point to create a weedless presentation. Hope that helps someone!
More ColorsI wish they brought back more colors like the smoke colors and black and red flake. Also, that 3.5 inch size is money too. But at least TW has brought a few options back with this classic bait.
spider parts and jigheadsthis tiny little bait works great exspecially in cold water alot of derbys won on the hudson river and candlewood lake its been a little bit of a secret so glad they brought these back.

Comments: Been fishing these for at least 12 years for NJ,NY, PA and CT smallies with incredible success. We fish them on small, light football heads. So many colors, mix and match, just great baits. When you find a personal favorite color, you can get large 50, 100. piece bags rather than the small bags available on TW.

Comments: Greatest Spider Jig on the market hands down. This is my personal favorite bait for fishing in the Delaware River for smalleys, cast it into the current and just jig it as the current carries it down the river and the smalleys will hammer it. Avocado Black and Red is my personal favorite. They are soft so they do not last long especially after catching a few smalleys but i also believe that their softness is also the reason that they catch so many fish.

Comments: Best crawfish bait i have ever used. I kayak fish and all i do with these is throw em up stream of me and let em sit as i drift and actively fish a fluke, tube or even another spider part. The only time i put new ones on is when i break off or the bodies get torn up by the fish. Even caught a few walleye and a pike on em.

Comments: The best spider jig, creature type bait on the planet. It is a smallmouth catching lil' critter. Do yourself a favor & buy some of these. You will not be dissapointed. The Ky Bass and the Largemouth love 'em too!

Comments: These baits on a jighead of appropriate weight given the flow flat out catch smallmouth in moving water. My personal best is 16 smallmouth in an hour with these lures. The design is the perfect balance of durability and action that smallmouth cannot resist. The only reason you will have to change lures is if you have to break off because you get stuck in a crevice in moving water.
