Offering one of the lightest, most sensitive crankbait rods on the market, the Castaway Crankin’ Series Casting Rods utilize Castaway’s proprietary blank technology and blend it with fiberglass to achieve the parabolic actions of fiberglass while also maintaining the ultra lightweight performance of graphite so you can fish all day without fatigue. Castaway also used an ergonomic reel seat with three direct points of contact to the black for the ultimate response and sensitivity so that you can feel every piece of cover your crankbait comes into contact with and the most subtle of bites.

Comments: LOVE these rods! I have 2 models. The 7'2" model is a great squarebill rod but doubles as a chatterbait rod. The other one is a 7'6" it's insane for throwing a deep diving crank bait. You can throw it further than you want to reel in but it also doesn't wear you out like most deep diving crank bait rods.

Comments: LOVE LOVE LOVE these rods! I have all 3 sizes and they are flawless. The 7'2" model is a great squarebill rod but it is also an amazing chatterbait rod. The 7'6" model is great for that 5 or 6XD crankbaits or even at DT20. The 7'10" is a good 10XD rod. I would recommend all of these!

Comments: I love these new rods from Castaway. They're light, durable, and just the right price. The carbon fiber leading into the glass portion of the rod helps keep the fish pinned, especially at the end of casts, and still has the parabolic bend from the glass to support any serges and brings sensitivity throughout the rod. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, this is the best cranking rod I've ever owned

Comments: I have 2 of the 7'2 MH. And I have to say I have found my new favorite squarebill rod! Great rod for reaction baits and very sensitive... even have thrown chatterbaits on it and you can feel everything! Awesome rod for a great price point castaway gets a thumbs all the way up for this one!!
