Great Swimbait HookI love the look these hooks! They make my swimbaits look realistic and get bit! Just don't try to put them into a swimbait that's too small for them and you'll be a happy camper!

Great action, but….I really like these hooks. I use them with the Kietech Fat 3.8 or 4.3. They just flat catch fish. The only issue is the swim baits get tore up pretty quickly with these hooks. So if you don’t mind going through the baits, you will love the hooks.

Perfect for the D-WalkerBefore these came along, I was removing the screw-lock from VMC belly weighted hooks and putting them inside the River2Sea D-Walker. Well, these are even better! Trust me, buy one pack of these with a 4/O hook and one pack of the River2Sea D-Walker 120 in your favorite color. You get 3 TUSH in a pack and 3 D-Walkers in a pack so for less than $12 you have 3 completely rigged, very high quality 5” swim baits. It’s a match made in heaven!

Tore up my Megabass freestyle baitsAfter having high hopes for this Core hook to use with my Megabass freestyle baits, I got to say these sucked. This has to be the worse weighted hook to use. The weight is too much for the plastic and ripped up both Megabass freestyles. I was just trying to get this hook in the plastic. Not happy....

Excellent swimbait hookI have some Big Bite Bait swimbaits that I used to throw in saltwater (Specks and Reds). The Core hooks are outstanding for these baits because the BBB didn't rig too well on a conventional jig head, and with Core, they're back in the tackle box.

One of the best swiw bait hooksYou only need to find the right size for the bait that day and the depth you need. These swim great in the water column. Unfortunately, you might need a few sizes to find the right one for the condition.

The lite weight small hook onesThe hook thickness on the “finesse “ lite weight small hook ones is way too thick. Looks to out of place. Had to send them back. Why they wouldn’t use a good hook instead of some crummy thick hook. I don’t know. I will wait on the next company to come out with a good one. Lots of room for improvement.

Comments: I was excited to get this terminal tackle. I got the 3/16 size. I have tried them on different sizes and styles of baits. So far I think the best fit for the 3/16 are 3.8, 4.3 for Keitech Fat or Bass Pro Speed Shad and 4.5 for the Hog Farmer spunk shad. I got the hook to fit on a 3" Bass Pro Speed Shad and 3.3" Keitech fats but I didn't like the fit. The reason I like the bigger size plastics is because the weight of this hook is actually pretty big in diameter which can overwhelm a smaller bait. BTW, be very careful with threading these things on your swimbaits. Watch the product video they explain how to exactly get the hook on your swimbaits. Just make sure you keep the hook in the middle of the plastic and it's all good. Can't wait for more weights and hook sizes.

Comments: The weight makes the bait too rigid and it falls on its side very unnatural like. I was using a fluke style like plastic, and I found better result using a plain 90 degree hook and adding a nail weight. Good idea but it was just easier and had a better presentation when I added my own weight. The only down fall of a regular 90 degree hook is the plastic slips out a lot if you don't add some sort bait holder and a touch of super glue.

Comments: The 7/0 3/4 pairs well with the 6" hollow body basstrix. The hook/weight fits inside the basstrix where its hollow. I have been getting good bites swimming the bait deep over dropoffs.

Comments: When I originally found out about these I assumed it would be great for finesse swimbait presentations but in actuality the hooks are a bit on the beefier side. Make them with lighter wire hooks and more weight options per hook size and then it would actually be a line of "the ultimate swimbait hook". Left as is, it's better to throw them on heavier tackle.
