Overview
A longtime standard among anglers, the Cotton Cordell Boy Howdy presents bass with a wounded baitfish imitation that draws explosive blow-ups. Whether it is worked with a series of twitches or a straight retrieve, the Cotton Cordell Boy Howdy is fitted with two, smooth-running props that disrupt the surface and create a devastating sputter. Fitted with three razor-sharp trebles, the Cotton Cordell Boy Howdy replicates the look and commotion of a wounded baitfish to incite rod-bending blow-ups that will have you saying “boy howdy.”

Comments: Saw this bait win a big tourney and started fishing it. Great bait but hooks are small. Play the fish!

Comments: How can this bait not be reviews yet. It's been around forever. As a guide it's been one of my go to for years for Lake Erie smallmouth. Key to having it work is to tune the blades which can be trying at times. Once tuned properly they both gurgle driving smallmouth crazy. Very few work right out of the pack but if you take the time to tune the blades with most metal blades lures you will see they work great. I have replaced it over time with the Yozuri 3BD prop lure but it still gets its rotation during finesse situations
