It is molded with a unique football shaped head design and a heavy-duty weedguard, which allows it to traverse through the thickest brush and steepest ledges without getting snagged. The Crock-O-Gator Wiese Football Jig is also outfitted with a heavy wire Mustad round bend hook that provides lighting fast hook penetration and enough backbone to pull big fish from cover. Comments: If you want a big football jig that goes through the brush this is the one. The weedguard is stout which means you have to set the hook hard but it rarely gets hung up. Great hook and even better keeper design. This thing catches a lot of fish.
