Crafted with a lifelike baitfish profile and elaborate body detailing, the DC Swimbaits Da Boot 5.5" Swimbait is engineered to swim through the water with the perfect angle and action at all times. Featuring a large boot tail that delivers a seductive kick, the Da Boot 5.5" readily draws the attention of nearby predators whether retrieved at a slow, medium, or fast pace. Further adding to its effectiveness, the Da Boot 5.5" is built with a unique self-correcting posture that causes it to always swim and stand perfectly upright, even when briefly knocked over while sitting motionless on the bottom.

Equipped with an ultra-hard plastisol head to sharply deflect off cover and prevent blowouts from screw locks, the Da Boot 5.5" also sports an integrated hook pocket for easier weedless rigging. Recommended for use with a 6/0 Owner Beast hook or an 8/0 size when added weight is desired, the DC Swimbaits Da Boot 5.5" Swimbait can help you add some serious heft to your limit.

Sweet little Swimbaits!The hog farmer 6/0 scrounger head fits with this Swimbaits perfectly! Love how the hard head material is so durable, it'll straighten out owner cps springs before ilthe nose blows out. Highly recommend, it's tricked so many 8/9# fish for me

VERY FISHY BAITS THAT LASTI mostly target highly pressured smallmouth bass, and it did not take long for the 5.5 inch Da Boot to become my go-to paddle tail, when I am looking to show them a larger offering. The way they move at all speeds.. the head wobble, body shimmy and heavy tail kick that you can feel through your rod triggers explosive reaction bites in all conditions. The high buoyancy opens up many unique rigging and presentation options that standard swimmers just can't mimic. From unweighted topwater waking to dragging deep bottom, tailing at the rear of a big arig and everywhere in between, there are not many situations where a DC Swimbait couldn't be "the deal" that turns a tough day into a fairytale day on the water. And they're super durable on top of it. The hard head design will not blow out, period. 10 out of 10, if you're a serious bass angler, and especially if you're a big bait enthusiast, you're hurting yourself if you're not throwing a DC Swimbait. The musky guys are learning too!

My Go-To PaddletailCannot speak highly enough about DC swimbaits and Da Boot. The Da Boot has a tail action that is one of a kind at all speeds. I like to rig the 5.5" and 7" as a line through, but all of DC's baits have a hard head that also takes a screw lock perfectly. They are also incredibly buoyant, so you can rig them to float, XSS, SS, or they will sit perfectly straight when dragging bottom. DC makes some of the most versatile soft baits I have used, and for the price - you just can't beat it.

The ultimate weedless swimmies!You can never work these too slow since it will sit on its belly on the bottom when paused, so you can work it like a jig. It won't fall down to one side, unlike other flat-sided swimbaits. Silicone tough. The head material is very tough, so the hook's screw-lock won't tear out. This is next-level stuff.
