When you catch fish in deep water and bring them to the surface quickly, their air bladders rapidly fill with oxygen which makes them go belly up in your livewell and can expose them to barotrauma.
Created as an alternative to fizzing, the Belly Bomb’s stainless steel fin clips attach to the anal and pelvic fins of the fish to keep them upright in your livewell and allow their swim bladders to deflate naturally. Available in two sizes for your rat and donkey-sized bass, the DD26 Fishing Belly Bomb Fin Clip Weights are finished with a short leash that provides some flex and eliminates ripped fins if they rub against the bottom or another fish.
