3.5 StarsThe tool is okay, helpful if you must line your own spinning reels. It's certainly better than using the reel to wind with respect to line twist. You still have to have some way to put tension on the feed line spool, which is a key to a good wind. I will use it for braid, but if winding flourocarbon, it's probably best to head to the local shop and ask them to use their professional winders. One tip with fine braid, after tying your braid to backing, use teflon tape to wrap the spool and cover the knot.
