Comments: I have tried just about every braid going for spinning reel applications and there are lots of really good lines out there, but this braid could be the most manageable, durable and longest casting braid I have ever used. I use the 15lb stealth gray and when I say it casts a mile, it literally casts a mile. And I have yet to have any line management issues, and I have it spooled on 8 spinning reels. It doesn't fray or fade, and I have been using this line for two seasons on several setups. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a braid that plays nice on a spinning reel. DO NOT BUY the regular Daiwa J Braid, ie 4 carrier or the 8 carrier, that stuff is pure junk. Only buy the grand version of Daiwa's braid. You won't be disappointed.

Comments: I spooled the 30lb Grand 8X on my new Tatula 300 last year for King Salmon season and I had my doubts at first because it's so soft but after landing a lot of big fish it never failed, it cast excellent, handles excellent and was a joy to use all season! it's much thinner than PP super slick 8 V2 as well.

Comments: The reviews on here saying that it bird nest easily is probably more on the side of user error and not the product itself because you are the one who controls the spool. Product is great strong, quiet, and can be fished just about for anything. I use it on my jig rod, jerk bait, swim baits etc. My favorite has to be the 30# for all around fishing but I use 50# on my big swim

Comments: Works for me! I've been 'anti-braid' for a long, long time now........noisy in the guides, difficult to knot properly, discoloration and fraying..........left me with a bad impression. Let's give it another try, says I, so I spooled up this J-Braid Grand. Not bad......not bad at all. Quiet in the guides, manageable, knots pretty well, casts great. Jury is still out but this impresses me so far.

Comments: Best line ever and I've used Spider, Power Pro, Berkley, and for years not once on each line, nothing compared to the jx8, if you do birdnests it comes out easily due to the line being slick. Double palomar knot is what I recommend.

Comments:Well since we seem to be in a shortage of just about everything here in the USA. My sufix I was and still is out of stock ( as of today) So I decided to try this line( honestly I likes the gray on my Bg) Tied it off, spooledthe reel and went out.. First thing I noticed was how soft it was, this concerned me because soft means easily frayed..Well a month in and this not has not disappointed... this line is stupid strong does not fade and just plain held up to the abuse including frogging with it (15#)I'm now replacing my sufix 832 with this line..

Comments:This is the worst braid I ever used. Every cast I was getting knotted up.In 2 hours fishing time I had to retie a dozen or so times.I love the new Berkley fireline ultra 8 and decided to give this a try.....What a mistake I made and a waste of money!!!
