Overview

It is often difficult to rig your baits straight on a screw or spring type bait keeper, but with the Damiki D-Hold Weightless Hook, it's as easy as Texas-rigging. Simply insert Damiki’s patented D-Hold Keeper into the nose of your swimbait and feed the wire through in a normal Texas-rig fashion. The lower horizontal portion of the keeper wire can then be inserted into the bait for a secure hold that won't pull or tear out as easily either. Featuring Damiki's super sharp and extra strong Viper Hooks technology, the Damiki D-Hold Weightless Hook offers a winning alternative to standard baitkeeper hooks.

Comments: Chalk this up under "why didn't I think of that"? This is a perfect toad hook. Most normal screw in hooks will eventually rip the nose of your toad. This doesn't. Plus, the're sharp as the devil himself.

Comments: I originally bought these in both 3/0 and 5/0 for rigging z-man plastics. Mostly top waters because it's difficult to rig a Screwlock into those baits. I would say this was just as difficult to rig and did not perform well at all for the hard leg frog or the pop shadz. So then I tried using them for 3.8 keitechs. They did ok for that but I kept having to tweak them after a few casts. Biggest issue was I kept missing fish. I cut this hook off and tied on a trokar swimbait hook. I swear I didn't miss a single fish after that and I started catching really nice fish. I'm not saying this is a bad hook... it's certainly an awesome idea. But for my applications and the applications I mentioned above, I would use something else

Comments: Hook is a little heavy, but the keeper is a great idea. Makes the really soft platics last much longer.

Comments: THIS IS THE BEST HOOK EVER !!!!!! This idea is awesome.  The design works SO well.  The baits stay on so well, and last so long.  This is FAR better then the twist on hooks, or simple inserts.  This hook is outstanding.  HIGHLY recommended.

From: Pete: Cleveland, Ohio

Comments: Extraordinary hook!  Keep your baits longer and your baits stay on the hook, with moving; no shooting up the line or splitting bait face. On first outing caught many 3 to 5 pounders,(bass) and one over 8lbs and one just shy of 11 lbs! Easy hookset!  The same baits stayed on without having to look for new ones.  Like much better than the screw on bait hooks and the parasite clips, which I used to used.  Even the 3/0 are great for toads like the sizmics. Well done Dimiki!
