Comments: Got the 3/0. The hook itself is the strong decent hook. Material from Japan, assembled in China. I've found that China assembly ends up with inconsistent products and molds. Not so much for this hook, as others (and I've tried a lot). Overall Decoy makes hooks that work well. On this one, The keeper seems more like a weed catch than a bait keeper to me. There is a barb in the wire that I really do like, and I've removed the shrink-wrap keeper it came with to just use the barb. Haven't tried it yet, but if that does work, this is a 5 star hook. if not, it's a 3 for the bait keeper factor. Time will tell. All around, give if this hook is on sale, buy it and try it. Could work well for you.

Comments: These flipping hooks are not too weak, not too strong just right. I've lost too many fish with heavy wire, these are prefect. I've also lost fish from a hook bending out, so for bass 5lb and under in medium cover this is my choice. The keeper on this hook is flexible so it doesn't rip a big hole in your bait. Good hook for the majority of tournament bass we catch.
