Overview
Perfect for finesse fishing, the Decoy Worm 128 Neko Rig Hook provides anglers with the ability to create a truly weedless neko rig presentation without sacrificing hook-up ratio. Built with a vertical eyelet that prevents knot movement, it also always keeps your bait perfectly inline for the best presentations possible. It features a clear shirk tube bait keeper as well, which helps provide added stealth and stops your bait from sliding down the shank of the hook while going through thick vegetation. The Decoy Neko Rig Hook also features a wide gap that provides a bigger bite for a better hook up ratio, and it’s finished with a silky coat of fluorine for lightning fast hook-sets as well. When you want to use a finesse presentation in heavy cover, the Decoy Worm 128 Neko Rig Hook provides the versatility and the power you need to get the job done.

Comments: The things stick fish, sharp as a needle and the light wire penetrates without a hard set on a light rod and line. Landed a 4.3 pound smallie that almost yanked the rod out of my hand it was pulling so hard. The whole time I was worried about the hook bending out but when I removed it it was perfect, WAY stronger than they look. Not just for neko/wacky rigging, also great for small flukes and swimbaits if you skin-hook the point in the side instead of putting it through the middle of the bait. Another tip: A drop of super glue solves the keeper sliding down.

Comments: Hi Dyno. I had the same experience with the stockkeepers. I replaced them with a plastic earring backing from a craft store. They work great. Back in business and better than the original. Try it.

Comments: I had great success using this hook for my Neko rigs over the last two years. Primarily size #1 (largest of the 3) with worms in the "Zoom Trick worm" diameters and larger while using the #3 with "Roboworm" diameter worms. My only complaint is the life of the plastic keepers. While the hook points stay sharp, the keepers can slide down after several catches. I've been saving my hooks with the intent to someday inventing my own replacement keeper. I recently bought the Gama version of this hook which appears to have a welded steel keeper. I wish Decoy would consider doing the same for this hook.

Comments: This hook is "the deal" for weedless Neko (kinda Chicken rig ish). I use the size 1 hook for 4.5" - 6" baits and it works great. Quality hook and design. Rigged it like Dan from California recommended(see review below) and hook up is awesome. Thanks Dan!

Comments: Tried these out for the first time fishing a prototype Reaction Innovations 3.5" Pocket Rocket with a light nail weight, using the Size 1 hook. Holds the worm very securely (was shooting/skipping under dock), and "texposes" very well. Rigged it "backwards" from the instructions on the package (i.e. eye closer to the nose/hook point aimed down). Very weedless, 2 for 2 on bites vs. fish landed, including an ~4 lber.
