Would Recommend
Thinnest BraidWas looking for braid to put on my new ARK Gravity BFS reel. Seeing that the 18lb was as thin as most 8lb braid from other brands I was intrigued. I can say it really is as thin as it claims and it casts exceptionally well. Just finished up a CO river trip for trout and we had some strong wind a few days and I was able to cast super far with some super light (1/16) lures and baits. Even with all the rocks in the river I had zero breaks and with a good FG knot had no issue tying Seaguar Gold 6lb & 8lb leaders. Excited to try the 50-70lb braid on my frog reel and some other setups.

Would not recommendTried the 25lb lb based on the high reviews. Using on spinning tackle. While salmon fishing in the Skagit river I got hung up and had to break off. The 25lb braid broke before my 15lb leader. 3 casts later got a wind knot. Cut it out and got back to it. A few casts later bam another wind knot. Cut it out and carried on. About ten casts later another damn wind knot. I reeled up and used my other setup for the rest of the day. This was my first 30 mins of fishing. I’ve used lots of braids and never experienced anything like this. And believe it or not there was no wind…..

Would Recommend
Thinnest braid I have ever used!Got the 22lb braid to spool up on my spinning reels to as the line diameter matched that of standard 8-10lb braid. Tried it out and it worked amazingly well and has for many trips now! The thinner diameter really lets your line cut through the wind for longer casts and additional sensitivity. I have caught ten or more bass between high 4s to mid 6s on this stuff in the last month and it has held up amazingly, it really shines when fishing next to cover because you can tighten the drag up to get those higher caliber fish away from the nasty stuff without risking breaking. Highly recommend!

Would Recommend
Best braid out thereThis braid is amazing! Super thin diameter, and incredibly strong. I’ve used every braid out there and this one stands out amongst them all. The 22lb is perfect for spinning gear, and my go to is 40 lb for casting gear. If you’re throwing big baits, the 70 lb braid is top notch.

Review updateI have tried the 12lb and the 22lb so far. Thinnest braid I have seen. The 12lb is so thin that it is difficult to tie. I have used light braid a lot and never had break off issues, but this stuff is the exception. I broke off 3 times yesterday with my BFS setup. The 22lb has been used to throw a weightless magnum T-mac in the grass. It has been flawless. And it is really thin as well. Like 10lb braid thin. A hard pass on the 12lb and very happy with the 22lb.

This braid claims to be super thin. It is.I thought my J-Braid Grand 8lb was thin. The diameter listed on Defiant's braid seemed too good. JBG 8lb is .13mm while Defiant 12lb is .07mm. So if you want some thin braid, this stuff is insanely thin. I have it on one of my BFS reels and I will update after I put it through its paces a bit.
