Best FloroSwitched from Pline Tactical to this. Have used tatsu (never buying again), shooter, sniper, invis x, abraz x. This is by far the best. Just wish we could get the 19.8lb and other sizes and wish they came in bulk size spools.
I Just switched to this line from PlineI’ve used it all but this line is thin and extremely strong. I’ve caught 3 DDs and countless 5+ pound bass on it now since spooling it up back in December 2024. I’m extremely impressed. Especially with its abrasion resistance. Try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed.
Went from Abrazx to this with no regretsDefiant's Heavy Cover fluoro is the real deal. I used to exclusively fish Seaguar Abrazx for about 6 years before I took a change on this line. I'm 2 seasons into using it and I have been incredibly happy with the line. Memory isn't terrible like some other brands, and the cost is on point for what you're paying for.
I fish everything but I will always fish a jig from ice out to ice in here in the northeast, and I prefer straight fluoro on my jig setups. This line has held up to everything everywhere I've been. I like the 14 lb and 15.5 lb for my jigs mostly, and even with straight 14 lb up on Lake Champlain for a total of 20 days last year, it held up better than any other line I've used up there. That's saying something given I live to drag a football jig, and that lake is nothing but zebra mussels and shale rock which is incredibly sharp.
Abrasion resistant! This flouro is very durable, especially when fishing around cover or along sharp rocky bottom. I use this as a leader on my braid setups, and will fill a spool for some of my larger swimbaits. Lasts forever, and will not get torn up as easily as others out there on the market. This has replaced all of my other fluorocarbon line for fishing heavy cover.
