Comments: I bought the medium rod and have used it for a variety of techniques while paired with a Daiwa Exceler 2500D-XH with 10 lb braid mainline. The look and feel are top notch, especially the grips. It can throw a fluke so far you get bored twitching it back in. I find it hooks up well and keeps fish pinned. My only gripe is that the sensitivity is just okay with finesse baits, which I assume due to the moderate action. I caught a few bass on a 1/6oz ned rig, including a 17" smallmouth, but it was difficult to detect the strikes and bottom bounces. Two of the smaller bass almost swallowed the ned before I set the hook. I'll definitely keep this rod to use as a fluke rod. It would also work well if you wanted to throw some light topwater, crankbaits, or jerkbaits on a spinning setup.

Comments: I bought the 7' medium heavy for skipping tube baits and fishing weightless worms in thick brush. The rod is a bit tip heavy, but the casting distance is extremely good. Very solid on the hook set and, as with all rods in this series, no twisting in the hand on the hook set. This rod has plenty of back bone and really decent sensitivity. The grip can get a little uncomfortable for someone, like myself, that holds the reel stem between the middle and ring finger. This is a lot of rod for the money. I don't expect a mass produced rod such as these to have consistent quality like G. Loomis or St. Criox, but I couldn't find any production flaws in this rod. I would highly recommend this rod for a budget minded angler looking to step up to a lower mid range rod.

Comments: The medium heavy is an all purpose rod I use for just about very application you can use a spinning rod. Just great rods at a reasonable price point. I also have several of their bait casting rods and I'm sold. Nothing but Denali in my rod box from now on

Comments: If you want a senko fluke rod the Med Hvy is the way to go. TW calls is a Mod but on Denali website they say it's a mod fast.great for dock skipping. Had one of my guides break out which was kinda crappy but that happens with lots of rods.

Comments: Have owned the med-hvy since late summer 2017 and couldn't be more pleased.  I chose this rod for it's moderate action because I've gone exclusively to braid/floro leader to simplify my spinning needs and wanted a slightly softer rod.  I think this rod is more of a mod/fast than a pure moderate but it works for me.  This rod is very light and balances well with most of my 2500 sized reels; and the Winn grips are very nice feature for a rod in this price range.  Won't hesitate to consider the entire Denali line for future purchases.

Comments: If you haven't used the Denali AttaX Series Rods, you don't know what you are missing. These rods exceeded all expectations! You name they're light, strong, well constructed & worth the money hands down. Best rods on the market. Denali you will have a lifelong customer long as I'm fishing.
