Overview

Unique in design and action, the Deps MT Wake Topwater Wakebait features a large, wide lip designed to push water and draw fish from cover. With a normal retrieve, the Deps MT Wake Topwater Wakebait swims just below the surface with a side to side rolling action. With short twitches of the rod tip, the Deps MT Wake Topwater Wakebait will wind and glide left to right to help generate bites.

To create a unique tonal attraction, the Deps MT Wake Topwater Wakebait features an internal rattle chamber, along with a subtle squeaking sound created by the rubbing of the joints as it swims. To seal the deal, the Deps MT Wake Topwater Wakebait features a large Colorado blade attached to the rear, which causes a heavy pulsing action. Offering a unique topwater presentation, the Deps MT Wake Topwater Wakebait extends Deps’ lineup of premium Japanese lures with a highly individualized design.

Would Recommend
Solid Wake BaitDon't listen to the negative reviews. Obviously these are people who are not willing to learn how to work the bait and catch fish with it. The blow ups on this thing are extremely aggressive and some big fish nail this thing. It would be important to consider, as I am sure the people writing the negative reviews did not, that this lure is more specifically for spawning bass that are pushing up close to the banks and shallower water that are much more aggressive than normal.

Comments: I was fortunate to get one of these early and I love it. Will be ordering more. This bait makes the Buzzjet look finesse and will call the fish from up deep. That blade on the back slapping the water is no joke. Looking forward to throwing it in the fall in Texas for some big bites.
