Overview
Imported directly from Japan, the Deps NZ Crawler offers a large profile and a tantalizing action that will have big bass drooling. Featuring two large stainless steel wings that create an alluring swimming motion and unique splashing sound, its extra wide body also moves a tremendous amount of water. For an added level of attraction, the NZ Crawler is also fitted with a #4 Colorado blade on the tail that delivers a subtle flash and a small bubble trail as it moves across the water’s surface.
The NZ Crawler can be fished at any retrieve speed and its wing system can be bent and adjusted to change the amount of noise and commotion it creates to match the mood of the fish and water conditions. It is also equipped with two sticky sharp Japanese treble hooks that are fixed to swiveling hook hangers, which increases its hook-up ratio and reduces the leverage fish have to throw the bait. Available in a range of custom hand-painted colors, the Deps NZ Crawler delivers big-time attraction that gets even bigger bites.

Comments: I stepped on one of the wings by accident which bent it and initially made the lure difficult to tune properly. Also the screws it comes with that secure the wings are very small and I stripped one of them out. But it was an easy fix with an upgrade to some slightly larger screws. Aside from that this is a really fun bait to throw once you get it to run properly. Not a bait that I think the bass see as often so I'm counting on it to one day land me a big fish.

Comments: Incredible topwater that targets giant bass. Used it in the summer of this year and my first hookup was a 7 pounder but unfortunately it shook off and got away but a few days later landed a 5 pounder on it. If you're looking to target the giants with a topwater this is it. It has a unique action that is very lifelike.

Comments: I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one of these last year. It is a massive bait, but it is the most disruptive topwater I have ever seen. It makes the Jackall Pompadour look finesse. The hammer them on lake Biwa with this bait. If you're looking for a train wreck topwater bite by a big fish, give this a go.
