Comments: The 703 medium has been a fantastic dropshot rod. I use this rod to cast to brush piles and the rod is strong enough to get the fish out of the brush pile and still sensitive enough to feel your bait in the brush pile. I use a drop shot the same way you would fish a shaky head and this rod is perfect. This rod also works really well for small jerkbaits.
