Comments: I purchased the 7'3 heavy, I've been using it for 1 month and it snapped on me. I still like the rod, it's a great rod to fish with 20lb fluro, around trees, and rocks. Haven't had it long enough to throw in heavy grass but I'm sure it'll perform well. I do not know if it broke from mishandling or a small chip building up. Debating on getting that new Zeus rod or another silverado.

From: Sunny: Wisconsin 5/22/23

Comments: Got the 7'6" MH for crank bait work and tried it out with jerk bait over the winter. Rod is fairly soft for jerk bait but recently tried it out working topwater and works fairly well for that. I expect it'll work well for crank bait with FC/braid. Rod is surprisingly lightweight for its size. Guides are big enough for splice knots to travel through and handle/seat is comfortable and secure thus far.

From: Phil H.: NW Arkansas 4/6/23

Comments: The Rod is super sensitive and unbelievably light. The action and feel are equal to that of a rod in the $300+ range. I only have one issue, and that is I have broke 3 of them. They just seem to be engineered far better than the material can handle. This is not a knock at Duckett, though. I would personally recommend spending the extra $30 and getting the Duckett Triad. Duckett makes phenomenal rods, I just feel this one may be a little fragile for some fishermen.

From: Alex: Greeneville, TN 8/8/22

Comments: I purchased a 7 foot MH and the 7'3 H casting models about two years ago and have fished roughly 2-3 times a week since. The rods have held up great. In that time I have experimented with multiple rods in the $80-$120 range and I'm yet to find another in that price range with the action, sensitivity, balance and craftsmanship that these rods have. If you have $100 to spend on one rod that can cover a wide range of techniques (swimbait, chatterbait, Texas rig, jigs 1/2 or less) buy the 7 foot MH and you will not be disappointed. I have both of my Silverados paired Quantum Accurist reels. Great setups!

From: David: Georgia 5/14/22

Comments: This rod is balanced light and has a clean look to it if you were looking for a rod that can do everything this is definitely a good one to get this is not a jig rod though this rod is good for moving Baits like chatter baits spinner baits even Cranks you could fish a jig on it but it would not be ideal overall great rod for $100

Comments: Short term review. Bought the 7'3" mh about a month ago. Its been good so far sensitive, good power, and very versatile. Ive used it for swim jigs, spinnerbaits, lipless cranks, and texas rigs so far. I think its gonna be a good one for awhile. I use ghosts, micro magic pros, and terex. This one likely get as much use as any of them. I fish about 4 to 5 days a week so it will get tested. Update: Updated review of the 7'3" mh rod. I have had this rod now for 3 years. Ive caught fish on everything from swim jigs spinnerbaits lipless crankbaits big worms and texas rigs. This rod has held up great. Guides are better than ghost series. I use 15lb fluorocarbon on this rod. I have the older ghost rods. I feel this rod is superior. The guides are definately better. I replaced the tip guide on all my ghost last year. Only using fluorocarbon I cut into the guides. So far no issues with the silverado. Ill be picking up the 7' med spinning and the 7'3" heavy soon. I highly recommend this rod at the price point, I have micro magic pro terex ghost silverado and a lot of st. croix rods. These hold their own against any of them.

Comments: 7'3 MH-C review. I mainly fish Chatterbaits for years. I have bought well over 20 rods of various brands and materials. From $50-350 range. From glass, composite, graphite. From med to heavy, from slow, mod, mod-fast, fast. And I will say the 7'3 MH is the best Chatterbait Rod out there.

From: Jeremy: Savanna, GA 6/18/21

Comments: Absolutely loved this rod it has held up amazingly well won't have any other brand of rod from here on out.

From: Andrew: Lawrenceburg, TN 7/20/20

Comments: I have the 7'6 MH Crankin rod and I love it! Sensitive enough to feel when I'm hitting to the top of grass and loads up super nice when they bite!

From: Mike: Ludington: MI 6/25/20

Comments: I do not think I will ever switch from the Duckett brand after buying this rod. The Silverado in my opinion is one of the best rods you can buy for the price. It has great sensitivity, it is light, and has really good flex. The 7' medium heavy is my favorite and can be used for almost everything. Crankbaits, poppers and spooks, flipping, skipping, and much more. Overall being a $99 rod, it is hard to beat.

From: Unknown: 5/29/20

Comments: Honestly this is one of my favorite rods!  I own 3 dobyns fury's and a few castaways.  And this rod is amazing for o say I have two and both of them the reel seat stripped out so the reel does't stay ont duckett is really making a come back! Even though the reel handle strips out...   if you take thread tape like you use in plumbing.    You can fix the problem.   Just so everyone know! Love the new wheeler rods.

From: Unknown: Galesburg Il 5/6/20

Comments: This rod has worked well for me. I have the 7'3" MH and I have it paired with a SLX. I mostly use it for top water but it is a good universal rod for anyone looking for a rod in the 100 dollar range. The longer handle length does feel weird if you set down one with a shorter handle and then pick this one up. I don't mind it though and it doesn't give me any problems. Overall a nice rod for the money.

From: Trey: Vermont 5/4/20

Comments: Not happy at all with the Silverado rods. I own 25-30 duckett rods, mainly the original ghost rods. Some micro magic for crankin. I fish tournaments, I'm pretty rough on rods, some of my older ghost rods were starting to break. I ordered the 7 ft M cranking, first hookset the reel popped out of the reel seat. Also ordered the 7 ft MH, for a back up, for some other rods, not impressed with it either. Duckett should've kept the original ghost and updated them with the new kigan guides. Silverados aren't even comparable to the original ghost rods.

From: Chase: Grand Bay, AL 12/2/19

Comments: I loved the previous ghost I had two of them never had any problems with them at all, I picked up one of theses but was disappointed in the action of the rod very flimsy moderate action would not call this rod a fast action rod its more of a cranking rod I don't recommend it for jigs and plastics way to moderate but if your looking for a good rod for moving baits its a good rod.

From: derik: california 9/17/19

Comments: I love duckett rods but I have to warn you this isn't your typical duckett rod. I got the 7 fooot MHF and its not fast its definitely a moderate very moderate this rod probably has its uses with moving baits sensitivity is not  what you would expect from a 100 rod. big disappointment the OG ghost is way better even with all its issues don't waste your money go with the triad or the micro magic.

From: Jon: California 9/8/19

Comments: First off I got the 7 medium heavy fast. The rod is nice and looks like it will hold up well however I would put this more in the moderate category probably for chatter baits spinner baits and even squarebills you can use it for botton bait but its a very moderate action I would prefer the older grey white ghost over this rod. I personly was unhappy with the rod and exchanged it for a mhf action triad which in my opinion is a fast action rod.

From: Unknonwn: california 8/27/19

Comments: Honestly they are good rods.. from what i see just an upgraded version of the ghost rods they used to have. Only complaint is the handles are a little long. I got the 7'3" mh and its a great action/power but compared to other companies most have a 15" handle so you basically have a 7" rod with a long handle if that makes sense great product though tuff rods

From: Snake: Georgia 7/15/19

Comments: From what i can tell same action as ghosts just improvement on the rod itself. I have the ghost rods and decided to give the  7'3" mh a try in this series and basically the same action/tip as my ghost. Really liking it so far will definitely buy more.

From: George: Lake Hartwell 6/24/19

Comments: Probably the best Rod I own.  I have several Bass Pro Carbonlites and Abu Rod's. And this thing is flat out amazing. So sensitive and light and now that they have regular guides It's even better!!! Regular guides are amazing on these rods.

From: Unknown: 6/17/19

Comments: I bought this as my first pole of the year and it was a great Decision. Very durable and very light
