Holding down my chatterbait somewhereI bought one of these. Used it once. I suppose the head is at the bottom of the lake somewhere weighting down the lure it was supposed to retrieve. The head got stuck too, and eventually I snapped the line trying to pull it back up.

BEST MONEY SPENT !Lures hang up on everything so get them back with Eagle Claw's Lure Retriever! Fishing line, trotlines, fallen trees, logs, stumps, deep grass, milfoil, hydria, the list goes on and on, but with a few modifications these problems are a nuance of the past. Replace the cord that comes with heavier 300 pound braided nylon. The hole may have to be drilled out a little to make the cord fit. Attach the other loose end of the 30 foot cord to a inch and three quarter PVC pipe cut a foot long. This will supply plenty of strength for pulling. On the business end add Owner's ultra split ring size 9 with a 3/0 treble clipped just below the barbs. This rig works best when dropped directly on top of the lure and then bounced gently until the snag or bait is captured. Pull free, remove the lure, roll the retriever up, check for bent hooks and start back fishing. Money saved and a great investment!
