Overview
Redesigned in conjunction with Major League Fishing pro, Jared Lintner, the Eco Pro Tungsten Heavyweight Football Jig is an upgraded version of the original Heavyweight Football Jig and features key components that make it the ultimate deep water football jig. Starting with the head, the Eco Pro Tungsten Heavyweight Football Jig is made with premium tungsten to provide unmatched sensitivity so that anglers can feel small changes in structure, contours, and even really light bites, which might go unnoticed with a lead jig. Since the head is much smaller than lead, it also doesn’t blow the fish’s mouth out when you set the hook and increases your hook up and landing ratios.
Another key feature that was added to the Eco Pro Tungsten Heavyweight Football Jig is the premium hand-tied silicone skirt that generates a natural pulsating action and more secondary movement than a cheap banded skirt. It is also armed with an extremely sharp needlepoint medium wire hook that delivers superior hook penetration, even on long casts in deep water. Finished with a perfectly angled weedguard for enhanced snag resistance and available in a wide range of pro-designed colors, the Eco Pro Tungsten Heavyweight Football Jig offers tournament-caliber performance that will simply out fish all other football jigs on the market.

Comments: Have yet to fish with them, but seem to be nice jigs. The bait keeper does concern me a bit, since it doesn't really bite the plastic very hard. The skirts are also a little thinner than I expected, but I like it that way. Gives a little more finesse to the profile. The hooks seem a little thinner wire as well though, not sure how I feel about that yet but I'll give them a shot before I knock it. Ordered 3/4oz, but the Okeechobee Craw color I received was 1/2oz jigs in 3/4oz packages. Good thing TW has free returns. All the other colors I ordered were fine.

Comments: Not sure how much tungsten is in this jig!? This head is the same size as a 1oz lead football jig...not impressed.

Comments: I've used these for several years. Very sensitive, and always a great hook set. Use them on Missouri and Texas lakes.

Comments: Before Covid best jig I have used. However, on my last order the jigs had a variety of different hooks which were lesser quality than what I'm used to.

Comments: Great jig, get the weight you need in a smaller profile, I fish them all year !

Comments: Great jig. Very compact profile just like tungsten should be. I like to cut the skirt down a little bit on mine just for a little more action from the trailer. This jig transfers a great feel of the bottom through the rod and just flat out gets bit.
