Perfect Boat Jackhammer Rod.I got the 6'8” Heavy Glass. I throw a lot of 3/4-1.25oz Jackhammers in Central Florida. I always use a trailer so sometimes I'm pushing 2oz which is its max rating. I've yet to lose one. True moderate fast IMO. Feels very similar to my St Croix Legends Glass Crankbait Rod. It's nicely finished. Double foot guides. Comfy EVA foam grips. Nice JDM feel Rod Sleeve included. I love the green color scheme. Its not heavy at all. I've got it paired up with a Daiwa JDM Steez AII. Fast shipping like always

Great Chatterbait rodPerfect parabolic action to let bass get the bait without jerking it out of their mouths. Really helps fighting them near the boat as well. Plenty of backbone.

6'8 Heavy slow actionBy far the best dock skippin rod you can buy with money right now. I own every single combat stick made in casting and spinnin and refuse to use anythin else. I was in the love with first gen models with the camo grips and all, not a fan of the new look however, but as far as the action goes and length combo, it's amazing. I like a bulky and heavy rod preferably and the first gen 7'3 Heavy jackhammer was the best profile rod ever made in the fishin industry and had wicked capabilities. Could catch 60lb amberjack vertical jiggin on wrecks with that thing. However this one here, it's not as bulky as the original jackhammer which is a let down which is why I'm givin it 4 stars. Wish it was as heavy in weight and was as bulky as the OG Jackhammer rod. But for someone other than me, this would be a 5 star rod probably to them because people with weak little wrists don't like a heavy rod anymore. But for skippin chatterbaits, swim jigs, and whatever else u want to, this rod is the right length and action to do it...especially 1-handed-back-handed stuff. It's also important to note that thing is nothin short of a winch also though. Skip a bait out of sight and one blows up on it and gets wrapped up and everythin else, you can horse that sob outta there no problem with this little guy here.
