Designed in collaboration with BASS Elite Series angler Morizu Shimizu, the Evergreen IR Finesse Jig is an all-around compact jig built with an exquisite size setting that fills the gap between a full-size rubber jig and smaller rubber jig alternatives. Featuring a relatively large custom-made long shank hook, the IR finesse jig has a 45-degree line tie that provides excellent operability and a versatile rounded ball head design for snag-free performance in all types of cover.
Complete with hand-tied skirts for long-lasting performance, each jig has a wire bait keeper to prevent soft plastic trailers from slipping down the shank, and a molded collar to allow anglers to customize their presentation with a rattle band. Finished with durable powder paint for improved chip resistance, the Evergreen IR Finesse Jigs are available in a variety of heavier sizes with a smaller profile that appeals to bass under tough conditions and high pressure.
This is the one!The best finesse jig hands down and the very best at coming through wood without getting hung!!!

Evergreen wins againThis is my go to when the bite gets slow. 3/8 oz paired with a zman Trd bug is money. I trim the skirt right at the bottom of the hook. I throw this anywhere I would throw a Texas rig. Rarely gets hung up and just flat out gets bit. I will be filling my box up with more of these soon. Color selection is good but green pumpkin for me is a standard in any water.

Great little jigThe standard that I hold every finesse jig up to is the War Eagle Heavy Finesse Jig. And this little dude compares very favorably. I use many Evergreen baits especially the Jackhammer and their topwater baits. This is another winner from Evergreen. It's a tough little jig that has a stout enough hook to throw on heavier line. That's my gripe with the Keitech football and flipping jig. If you use a typical jig/worm rod and line with the Keitech jigs you will flex the hook and braid is absolutely out of the question. Not that you would use braid with the football jig but I like to flip with braid or atleast a braid to fluoro leader. With the IR finesse jig I've never flexed the hook on 16 lb fluorocarbon or 50lb braid to a fluorocarbon leader. Nice color selection and the paint on the head holds up. It also has that great Jackhammer trailer keeper. It's been a good addition for me as an all purpose jig that I can skip, flip and drag when I need to downsize my presentation. I'd recommend a Missile Baits Mini D Chunk or a Netbait Paca Chunk for the trailer. Evergreen makes great tackle and I'd absolutely recommend to a friend!
