Comments: I was looking for a new swimjig rod and was a little confused with the power and lure weight of the Cara swimjig rod only going up to 3/8oz so I decided to go with the 7'4 heavy cover jig rod and it's the perfect rod for fishing swimjigs in Florida in heavy cover. This is a phenomenal rod it's incredibly sensitive almost on par with my Expride which is my favorite rod hands down. If you are looking for a great swimjig rod and you fish 1/4- 1oz jigs this is a great rod it's more of a mh to light heavy with enough tip to work jigs and the backbone to jerk em out of heavy cover.

Comments: I just got the swim jig rod I took it out today for the first time and fished weight less senko to Texas rigged craws on it . What a sweet rod A+ rating . They are crisp and feel good in my hand . Also the swim jig rods is a rod you can do anything with.

Comments: I have the 7'2" MH Swim Jig rod. The rating on this rod is very deceiving. The rod has a lot of tip, not fast as stated, IMO. This gives way to a substantial backbone in the rod. The rod is rated for up to a 3/8 oz bait and that light of a bait is pretty difficult to cast accurately. Don't get me wrong, I like the rod(not my favorite), but I had to find a place for it. Currently, I'm using it to slow roll a big, 3/4oz spinnerbait this winter. Very efficient tool for that. However, it will be the only one I purchase.

Comments: i have always wanted to see what falcon had to offer especially the cara series but have stayed away based on one of my biggest pet peeves...exposed threads on the reel seat!!! i cradle my baitcasters so my pinky rests against the front of the trigger, having my hand rubbing against threads all day is a deal breaker for me. Finally!!! Falcon uses a locknut that hides the threads...and a really nice one at that!! blank is everything id imagined they would be...very light, sensitive, great tip...awesome rod!!!! thank you, Falcon...use this locknut on other series (lowrider perhaps) and I'm all in but for now, a few more Caras

Comments: I ordered two 7'3'' Heavy Amistad Cara rods. I think they are incredible. Very light and very powerful. I've caught several fish on both rods and have been extremely pleased with my purchase. The fit and finish are beautiful as well. I will be replacing my cranking rods next with the new Caras.

Comments: Just got my second Cara in after ordering the first one last week. I ordered the 7'3" Heavy 'Amistad'. Fit and finish is absolutely perfect! Not one single flaw anywhere. Actions is also tighter than previous generation. Sensitivity is absolutely amazing. Color scheme is understated and classic. Everything a bass rod should be...this is it!

Comments: Falcon knocked it outta the park with these new Caras. I've used nothing but Falcon rods for the past 10 years, from Bucoos to Caras and everything in between, and these are by far the best rod they've ever made (yes, even better than the USA made Caras). Falcon rods have always been a bit on the "slow" side as far as the taper goes. For the most part rods they listed as a Medium Heavy was more like a Medium power, and even their pros would tell you that when describing rods. But not any more. I just bought the 7'3" MH "Deep Runner" and I was blown away at how much more crisp this new rod was compared to my old Reaction series. This rod is perfect for ripping a lipless crankbait through grass, squarebills, and most all crankbaits from a Spro Rock Crawler all the way up to a 6XD. I love it so much that I'll certainly be replacing my older "slower" Caras with these new ones.
