Comments: I bought the big sexy 7'6" and the 2nd week of using it, the rod broke in half 18 inches up from the reel seat when I set the hook on a northern. Before that, I loved it.

Comments: Could be better, don't like it. Not sensitive enough, maybe for a jigging profile, but not for bladed jigs profile, got a MH, which in all can be consider heavy action for this built. You can find better for the price or pay a bit more for other brand.

Comments: I've had this rod 4 years now .. I'll keep this 100% honest .. if your only looking for 1 or 2 higher end rods only or bait specific .. then no this is not for you .. their are many rods that are more sensitive more tuned for a specific bait, and a couple others in price range that are better bang for your buck . Whatâ•Â˙s great about this rod is .. it truly is a BIG SEXY .. I've 27 combos .. I enjoy collecting / using / reselling rods .. but this one has always had a spot on my rack .. I get a ton of compliments on this rod .. for me that's the joy of owning this rod .. no other rod looks like it .. that alone makes it so unique, and will be a classic .. I'm betting most that sold their big sexy regret it . So if spending $200 on a rod just because you can and it won't bother your bank book, then ya gotta get a big sexy .. it's in the name & they truly did name it correct . I've much nicer rods .. but Ill still never let this one go .. it's kinda like a guys first motorcycle.. you have a bond to it .. 4 years later it's nice to see it's still being sold here at tackle warehouse .. . grab yours & just trust me .. if your into good looks - your gonna love this rod .. ( still catches fish .. it's just a rod after all .. but wow does it look sexy doing so .

Comments: 7' MH. After a couple seasons with this rod I would say it is definitely worth the money. Sensitivity is there and so is the strength. Actually has a good slight bend at the top to keep them pinned but with enough backbone to pull them out of cover. I usually throw jig, t-rig, swim jig, spinner baits and swimbaits on this thing. Flipped a couple good size 4-5lb fish with no fear of breaking. Surprisingly light too. Paired up with either Curado K or Curado DC and this thing balanced great. And don't get me started on how good looking this thing is in the sun...

Comments: Bought the 7'2 MH and after two weeks it broke on the hook set. Absolutely loved the rod until this point. got in contact with Favorite the next day explaining what happened and that i was leaving on a 5 day fishing trip and this was the rod I was planning on mainly using. I dealt with Paul in customer service and he got me a rod shipped out over night so i could have it in time for my trip. Seriously could not be more impressed with the customer service. Just with that experience I will be buying more from favorite and highly recommend them.

Comments: I have the 6,6 md hvy. I really like it for bank fishing. It's pretty sensitive and it will handle anything and any kind of technique well within its weight limits for lures. When I'm going out with just one rod I usually skip past my orochi Xx and grab the big sexy. If you are looking for something that has amazing sensitivity then keep look to Megabass or Shimano.

Comments: Its the sexiest rod i own. But a bit pricy. Ive caught some coho on it because i got it in late and used it in the harbor here. I would typically use it for bass. But overall great rod. Going to get another in april to use for prespawn. Perfect actions. 7'4 medium heavy is the best all around rod. Big sexy and the curado dc balance well. It is the first combo i grab when i get to the water or am on the water.

Comments: I got this rod about a month ago and with my experience it's an alright rod. For 200 it's not the best but it's not the worst either. It has decent sensitivity but its a pretty heavy rod. There are many better options like the daiwa tatula elite rods, the gloomis e6x, and the St Croix avid x. I'd honestly rather buy the defender because it weighs way less and it seems just as sensitive, but broke it cuz that's just what happens with using favorite rods. Decent rod but theres alot better options.

Comments: I own the 7" MH , flipped a 5.1 pounder over the boat with ease last weekend.. It looks like a high end rod that should cost much more, the rod is surprisingly very light, powerful and very sensitive, an amazing jig rod.

Comments: My first favorite rod and it definitely wont be my last. Found a super good deal on it for $100 & couldnt turn it down but I think it's worth every penny even if paying full. Was hesitant to try out a new brand but I checked out the reviews on TW and felt reassured; I would agree with all of them. Paired it with the curado DC and it's a super light , sexy looking combo. Bought it late season and havent had much time taking it out but I've caught one fish on it so far and it feels like it has a very good backbone. Super light rods with surprisingly good backbone always catches me a little off guard in a good way.

Comments: Agree with the others. These really are the best rods $199.99 will buy. I've near 20 rods this one is by far my favorite ( no pun intended ) it's very light / strong - love the fast tip. Very cool how the color will change in direction of lighting. Easy to tell homework really went into this rod - I highly recommend.
UPDATE: A year later I still stand behind this rod, I've over 25 combos - from an NRX on down. This is still very much a favorite rod for me, I even jerk bait on it (7'4 MH). No it's not the most sensitive for this price range, but it's still a jack of all trades. That and it's so damn pretty in the sun. If I were to bust it I'd definitely buy another big sexy. Very unique rod! Your arsenal will welcome this one.
