Comments: there is so much to say about this rod. i simply love it. i have the 7'3 ml and its perfect for throwing weightess finesse worms to wacky rigs to light dropshots to light ned rigs. the tip is so whippy and bendy you dont need a big hookset. i tend to dropshot with rod and i feel most bites. once the fish is pinned it double overs but is well strong enough to land big bass. ( ive cauht a many 1-2 pounders few 3 pounders and weiged a 4 and a 5 on this rod and it worked well) they wont ever spit the hook and if your drag is loose enough they wont ever break you off.

Comments: Power fishing and ripping lips is fun, but going after bass on light tackle is even better.Bought the 7'3 ML originally for panfish, but ended up putting on 10lb braid and throwing weightless stick baits, trick worms, soft flukes and ned rigs on this rod and having a blast. It is a very whippy rod, so if you are going to target bass with it I recommend the no stretch of straight braid because the rod itself takes a while to sweep into the backbone. But, once you set the hook the rod is basically a giant shock absorber so it is very unlikely they are ever going to be able to throw the hook (which is good because you need to take your time as you won't be forcing any fish over 3lbs into the boat with this rod).In regards to the micro-guides, my first rod came damaged (TW was great and shipped me a replacement) and did have the micro guides that were so tiny I would imagine that trying to throw a braid to leader knot through them would be frustrating if not impossible. However, my replacement rod does not have the micro-guides and they appear large enough to allow a braid to leader know through with no issues. Not sure if Favorite changed the guides or what but I thought I would let everyone know.

Comments:A sad day! I had the 7'3ML and hauled in many lager and small mouth with it! Never even tryed to boat flip with it and have a great reel on it and it broke On a hook set! I was very bummed. I have much pricier rods that just didn't feel as good as this one so I used it more so than the rest. I ran to scheels and grabbed another white bird and this time a 7'2 MH and it's just as great! The price point is awsome and the stick it's self is great! The MH is like a lighter medium, but has a perfect bend to it! Glad I got it. thanks for marking a decent finesse rod that is super affordable! Also it's matched with a team lews TLC2000 with 15lb strike king braid and a maxima ultragreen 8lb leader. it's a dream!

Comments:I bought the 7'3" medium light combo about a month ago, and although it did feel a lot more like an ultra light it has handled beautifully with 1 to 2 pound largemouth. I spooled up the reel with 15 pound braid and a 10 pound fluoro leader. This rod is great for ned rigs, wightless Texas/wacky rigs, and really light drop shots. My only complaint is that the guides are really tiny, so sometimes my leader knot gets stuck, but other than that it is great.

Comments:I have the 7'3" ML and absolutely love it. Great finesse rod for throwing weightless T-rigged plastics, wacky rigs, dropshotting, ned rigs. Pair it with a 1000 size reel of your choice and light braid. The setup is very light and sensitive. Only complaints I have is that the guides are very, very tiny and my braid-to-leader connections tend to get stuck, even when using a knot like an Alberto. Also, and this may be an issue with my braid, but I tend to constantly tangle my main line around the tip section. Other than those couple of issues I've run into, I think this rod is a really great value for the price. ML version can also double down as a good rod for panfish/trout too given how light and sensitive it is.

Comments:This little rod is great! I fish ALOT.. and I find my self with this more and more , just feels good In my hand. I got the 7'3 Med Lt. I was skeptical because it felt like thare was no back bone and the tip is like a noodle ice rod.. I was gonna crappie fish with it , but I put a 1/4 drop shot on ,and i put a ned rig on it, either one of those wer butter on this rod.. super finesse. Paired with a Sahara 1000 size reel and I have nothing but good to say about it.. the cheapest set up I have and it is so fun with this rod.. smallies on the river fight like pit bulls up north were I'm from and it's flat out a good rod.. I put 15lb power pro on it with a 8lb fluoro leader, like I said it was gonna be a crappie rod , now it's my finesse weapon!

Comments:I own 5 Favorite Rods so far and I love all of them. But let me just warn you guys that some of the White Bird line is deceiving. If I hadn't gone to a tackle shop and bought the 7'3" ML, I would have been kinda disappointed to be honest. It feels like an ultra light. More like one of those Bass Pro Shops glass rods you can buy for Sacalait and other Panfish. Now, I've been using it for months and see why it's labeled as a ML. Sure, it's wobbly as all get out, but the rod can handle big fish. I've already caught atleast a dozen Bass over 2 pounds with it and even caught two Redfish. But at the same time it doubles as a rod I can use for Panfish when I want to. It's great, I wouldn't change a thing. Just go to your local shop that sells White Birds and check them out instead. The power ratings are a bit misleading.
