Would Recommend
Medium LightI purchased the Medium Light casting rod as a general, do-everything in between my BFS and larger technique specific rods. The action seems like a true fast action rod and appears well built. The rod handled a 2.5 lbs. largemouth with ease, and I imagine it could handle something twice that size or more without issue. For a rod around $100 after discounts/sales, I found this rod to be very capable rod and a lot of fun to throw a variety of lures (well...maybe not a frog in dense vegetation or a heavy jig). I would absolutely purchase again, especially for the sale price.

Would Recommend
Handles 7g to 13g lure beautifullyI paired this rod (ML) with the Daiwa Alphas series (CT SV and SV TW) and the Shimano Metanium, and I’ve primarily used it for fishing with lures ranging from 7g Ned Rigs to 13g finesse jigs (overall weight of the lure). It performs exceptionally well across this range, handling the lures smoothly and without any issues. For bottom contact fishing, it provides excellent sensitivity, making it easy to detect bites. While I still prefer the World Class series for its slightly better weight and balance, the Elite series offers comparable performance at a significantly lower price.

Impressive rodI have this paired with a Curado DC and it balances out nicely...can feel everything when using bottom bouncers and chatterbaits, including the most subtle of bites.

Unbelievable feel and balanceI ordered this rod in medium heavy and ran a spinnerbait and a jig. This rod feels amazing. I’ve used some GLoomis $700 rods and this thing is close. Feels well balanced and very good action and fell.

Guides are no goodWhen I first got this rod it seemed really nice. Fished it for the first time and it was not very sensitive. Also I fell in my boat and the very first guide on the rod which is supposed to be the strongest, smooshed like a soda can. The guides on this rod are very poor quality.

Would Recommend
light, sensitive, comfortableI have the 6' 10" med/light , I love this rod... finesse jigs, (1/16-5/16's) Ned rigs, wacky worms, flukes. paired with a Daiwa Alphas 800, the grip is so comfortable, no fatigue, the whole combo weighs just over 10 ounces. highly recommend it !!! many rods purchased from TW , never disappointed !!

Comments: I purchased the 7' MH/F and paired it with a Metanium. I have had a couple of weeks now to use the rod. I must say I am impressed. It has a light controlled feeling to it. A good-looking rod with nice components. A nice price point for what you get. This combo has become one of my favorites.
