Comments: Nuthing crazy about this rod-- for a hundo (100) its honestly a naw. But if you get it for like 80 or less, its pretty good (case for me). 6'6" medium fast, top-water and jerkbait rod is suuuuper solid. Bank angler here so non of that crazy boat fishing things so a shorter rod to compensate is good. Especially if you tip-down jerk the rod towards the ground for poppers and jerkbaits its really good. Soft tip with a shortened handle makes it perfect for that. Could see it as a really good worm rod too for pond fishing with weights ranging 1/4-smaller on texas rig or jig.

Comments: Got a 7' medium for general purpose and non-frog topwater work and paired it with an 8.1 Tatula. Overall a good rod with reasonable sensitivity and backbone for a medium but the rod handle cork shifts a bit on occasion, leading me to believe the cork will eventually let go.

Comments: Have had mine for a couple of years at this point (MH 6'6" model) and for the money, it's one of the better rods I think you can get. Not the most sensitive, but is a great "all around" rod for someone who is looking to get on the water and maybe doesn't want to or can't spend the extra cash on a more expensive rod. It's also important to note that I am not easy on my gear, and its never given me problems like others have mentioned on these reviews.

Comments: I own 6 of these rods: 2 ML, 2 M and 2 MH. I have them paired to Pfleuger President XT's. Their sensitivity is excellent, and whatever technique you wish to use, they'll do it well. However, the grips are crap. They don't stay tight on the reel, and the cork has come off on a couple of them. I really expected better from Fenwick, given their reputation.

Comments: Not the lighest rod, but for the price is a great all-around rod and can take a beating.

Comments: For the price, its an okay rod.. I wish the reel seat was a little bit more comfortable. Hard to get a good grip with my middle finger, while palming my reel/rod/

Comments: I just purchased 2 of these rods Both 6'6" medium/fast n a casting and spinning model !I love these rods light, balanced , sensitive, what you would expect from Fenwick. I am not a believer in expensive equipment these rods fit the bill just fine, they feel like a rod that would cost much more !
Very happy with them and I would recommenced.

Comments: I have Currently purchased 2 of these rod. One is 6,6 medium heavy and one is 6,6 medium. The Action and the sensitivity of these Fenwick rods are amazing for the price but the Fuji seating seems to fall off after a few bass. The aluminum ring around the seating gets very loose. I would recommend professionally regluing the Fuji seating's. This also happened to my HMG from the previous model.
